    Any additional comments?
The story itself is entertaining and interesting. It's a creative, complex and enjoyable story that can be confusing at times. It's a perfect story for YA/Teen audiences.
It was little hard to follow at times especially in the beginning. It changes back and forth from one universe to the next and it took a while to get familiar with what was going on in each universe and separating each characters place within that universe. While the story is constantly moving forward, it is at a slower pace. Chapter 15( about 2 1/2 hours in) is when things really started to get interesting with plenty of action and suspense, that's when the story really pulled me in. I have listened to other stories by Lesley Smith where the writing was great and the story flowed smoothly so I believe the "choppy" feel at times in this story has more to do with the narration not the writing.
The story is told through the POV's of Kat, Katherine and Kaitlin. All basically the same girl with slight differences from 3 different (realities) universes Each universe has their own issues they are dealing with on a vastly changed earth in each reality. Along with the 3 Kat's there are the some of the same people in each universe parents, friends, etc. some in the same role, others not. Even though you are told at the beginning of each chapter which universe you are in I have to admit at times I was still confused. Not only with the characters but keeping them straight not only in their respective worlds but also when they go from one universe to another. I don't know if all the science talk makes sense but it sounded realistic/good and added a plausible explanation to the events taking place. It does have a good epilogue for each of the universes.
Kathryn Supina did a okay/good job with the narration. Some things were good, other areas need work. This was a tricky book to narrate if this is really her first narrated book. She has a nice voice that is easy to listen to for long periods of time. Her voice fit the age of the main characters. She does a good job with the emotions of the characters. It states in the story that all 3 of the different Kats are suppose to sound the same and she does them all very well. The problem for me is, she is just reading it for the most part. As the story goes on there is a little more "oomph" an life to the narration but there is no real difference in character voices, they all sounded basically the same, which just makes all the characters blend together.

    Highly recommended
This book was truly fantastic. I'm not a big fan of "undead"-type books, but this was so unlike any other book of this type I truly enjoyed reading it. I liked discovering the underlying meanings and subplots intertwined throughout the story, and was pleasantly surprised by how artfully the author wove a suspenseful tale without including the gore and shock tactics employed by lesser authors.
A Must Read, This Book Is Extraordinary!
I have read the book twice now and I am so glad I happened upon this masterpiece! I've been reading books of this ilk for nearly a decade and I am very impressed with the writing style; it piques your imagination with just enough detail to immerse you into each scene and leads you through the journey alongside the main characters.
The Waking Dream has renewed my faith in the genre and gives hope that there is much more to the zombie roller coaster than the lather, rinse and repeat mode (bite the victim, turn the victim and repeat) that a lot of these books seem to be in. A definitive fresh take on an overwritten, often over hyped genre. I am really looking forward to the continuation of this story and more from this author.
While not overly immersed with gore and viscera, this book does have its share of violence, but it is definitely not a detractor for the reader.
The Waking Dream. A exciting journey.
I read this first book by Mr. Tippey when it first came out. It is a great read. A adventurous and intriguing journey. Ready to dive into his second which is out now, " Reflections".

Happy To See There Will Be A Fourth Book!
There is a scene in this book that broke my heart (with the character Aurthur). I will definately read the next in series.
Just a clarification. I do not know Mr. Toseland, and am not associated with him in any way, except as a first time reader of his work.
Addendum: So I saw that book four was available, but not via Kindle Unlimited. Why? Not happy.
    The Camp
Still enjoying this series. British people are so different. (Not a stereotype). Calm, nonviolent, and they stop everything when they need a cup of tea even in an apocalypse. I guess it makes for amusing reading. Looking forward to reading Book 4.

This time Merlot is on a heavily fortified colony planet where everyone figured they were safer than a rectory shower room. Cool Sci-fi
Pretty cool book but I'm wondering what happened to book 1. Not available on Audible yet. Loved the narration by Zachary Johnson
    Anastasis
    Any additional comments?
Those things in the caves were scary. The torture that Nikolas went through was unimaginable. I haven't read the first in the series but I plan on it. The characters really drew me in. I received this audiobook for free through Audiobook Boom for my unbiased review.
    Really Entertaining and Enjoyable
    Any additional comments?
4.5 stars for the story and the narration.
I really enjoyed this book. Interesting, well written, entertaining and engaging. Creative, unique and timeless world the author has created. The story pulls you in from the first paragraph and never lets go. I did not want to stop listening. Definitely worth your time.
In the beginning of the book I was totally confused as to who all the players are. That is my own fault, I did not listen to the first book in the series. There are a lot of characters. It took me a while to get them all straight. I would not consider this a standalone book. Definitely read the first book before starting this one. It's a complex story with a lot of characters.
Political intrigue, abilities, action, suspense, space travel, alien worlds, telepathics more. How could you not be pulled into this unique world and not be thoroughly entertained. The story is constantly moving forward with a large cast of great characters, so there is never a dull moment throughout the book. So just hang on for the ride.
I will be going back and reading/listening to the first book. Just for the pure enjoyment and to get the backstory on all of the characters. Fortunately according to the author there is also going to be or there is a third installment to the series, hopefully that book will also be available on Audible soon and with any luck will have Zachary Johnson as the narrator.
Zachary Johnson did a great job with the narration. Nice voice easy to listen to for hours at a time. Clearly spoken. Narration flowed smoothly and evenly. The story is fast paced and the narration matches the story. Fast when needed, slower when needed. Great character voices. He was able to bring the characters and the story to life. Overall very enjoyable.
I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook by the narrator, author or publisher.
    A Great Sci Fi
ANASTASIS was a good, solid sci fi written by Autumn Warren. I started out listening without knowing the characters but it moved quickly and I soon fell in sync with them. The main characters were strong although I didn't really know their background.
To me the story felt timeless and spacey (without location) which I liked. Overall, I enjoyed it.
Zachary Johnson did a terrific job narrating the story. He has powerful vocal skills and a great voice. I really enjoyed listening to him.

    A Well Crafted Storyline
A fluid adventure from a fertile imagination. The reader is thrust into the action fairly early and the characters are well crafted. The author uses real world locations to set the stage and further sell the immersion. Profanity is used by some characters in the story, but it isn't out of place given their personalities. However, if that is a concern to the reader, you have been warned. If profanity isn't a deal breaker for you, I would certainly recommend this book. It truly is a story worth reading. I remember there was this one section of the story in particular that hit home with me when one of the characters was dealing with the loss of his father. It gave me a glimpse into what a friend of mine was going through when he lost his own. It felt deep and real as I read it.
I liked the story overall, and I am certainly looking forward to the next part of this storyline.
    ZINGER
    WARNING: CLIFFHANGER! SCREAM!
I really dislike cliffhangers, BUT, this is a full length book as opposed to paying for a few chapters at a time, so.....
Dammit! I'm going to have to buy Entrapment!
What a zinger of a story! Constant action! Unlikely heroes with unusual characters helped by aliens to save Earth from other aliens!
Also lots of violence with a huge body count!
    Great first book!
Great story from an up and coming author. Can't wait to read the second book!
What is this? A new way to bleed money from you.
The story was great! What passed me off, was when I realized that to get the whole story YOU HAVE TO BUY 3 BOOKS!!!! Now I wish I never picked it up. Now I am going to try to put it out of my mind and remember the authors name so I NEVER buy one of his un-finished stories.screw this. Never again
    Could not stop reading!
Captivating, once I started reading, I couldn't stop til I finished the book. It was written in such a way that the story was totally believable, characters were interesting and "fleshed out", so their back story was clear and compelling. It left me wishing I could read the 2nd book immediately!

    Read This Series
Please see my review for book one, which covers the first three books in the series. Sometimes the second book in a series can be disappointing. For me, that was not the case with this one. When I finished book two, I immediately downloaded the third via Kindle Unlimited.

    Moronic and terrible
This story was poorly written, the ideas and descriptions were juvenile. I felt like I was reading something written by a child, and was relieved when it was over. This was money not well spent.
