    Narrator: Noah Michael Levine
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 14 hrs and 30 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 08-15-17
    Publisher: Audible Studios

Genres: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Fantasy: Epic
    Publisher's Summary:
The Dinosaur Princess is a thrilling epic fantasy adventure set in an alternative world of intrigue, beauty, brutality...and dinosaurs.
Welcome to paradise: A primordial world with every species of dinosaur, large and small. And humans who were brought to this world on the whim of the gods. Knights ride into battle on Triceratops; their heroes lead them on T-Rexes.
Karyl Bogomirskiy is one such hero. Once, he held power. Betrayed by those closest to him, he was resurrected by the Fae, magical beings native to the world, who seek to use him in their eternal battle against alien gods. Karyl just wants to be left in peace, reluctant to be anyone's tool, much less a savior.
But the gods have returned to judge their human experiment and to finally rid the planet of the Fae. And while Karyl doesn't feel like a hero, he's humanity's last best hope.
The Dinosaur Princess is the newest epic fantasy adventure set in a world where knights ride armored dinosaurs into battle, hailed by George R. R. Martin as "A cross between Jurassic Park and Game of Thrones."

    Disappointing.
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The one big thing that ruined this installment for me was the ridiculous amounts of completely unnecessary nudity. I'm not shy about some sex, nudity, or that kind of thing as long as its important to the plot. But this was just way to much... i mean, John Carter, where all of the characters where naked ALL the time, had less graphic nudity and sexualization then this novel.
I feel like the author attempted to take the cultural aspects of nudity and lack of sexual qualms that he wrote into the plot in the first two books, to a ludicrous level for no other reason then he thought it might bring more people to read his book. There are several graphic gay and straight sex scenes in this that had no purpose then to be sexual and sensual. They had no purpose for character building, or plot building purposes.
I feel i just finished a smut novel.
Would you ever listen to anything by Victor Milán again?
    Yes, the reader was great.
Which character as performed by Noah Michael Levine was your favorite?
I loved the main character, but there was very little of him in this. He's suppose to be some kind of savior, but... he... doesn't, do, anything! I would have loved for the book to have focused on what the hell he was doing in the boarder lands rather then the random and quite frankly stupid plot at the quasi-capitol.
Did The Dinosaur Princess inspire you to do anything?
Uh... odd question, but no. Other then to feel grossed out by the random, completely out of no where sex scene where the flower knights captain some how gets passed several skilled, highly trained, and alert knights on the verge of battle, that snuck into their Orders leaders tent, and then suck him off.....
Gross, pointless, and distracting from the actual few interesting parts of the story.
    Any additional comments?
The author needs to fire his alpha and beta readers, because there was so much useless garbage in this book that was just filler that it made me anger.
Good story, that's ruined by terrible writing.
Constant plot hammering, and terrible inconsistencies, easily the worst book of the three.

    Elves,Trolls, and Giants oh my!
This book is about a girl named Breeze. She is half Elve and half human. Because of this she has a hard time fitting in with society. Her father has left her when she was four with a kind recluse who likes to tinker and build things while he goes off to war. Breeze discovers that she has unique powers that can benefit others and help them against the Kanters who are large man eating trolls that they are fighting. If you like these types of characters then you will enjoy this book
    Fantastic!
This is a great book! It caught me and had me interested in the first page. So thrilling to get involved with a book that nothing else is as important as turning that next page, and the one after that, and the one after that until the end! I loved the characters, the descriptions, and the story line. Great job! So far I have loved every book I've read of yours. Can't wait to start the next one. Thanks, Lynn
    Good read
A good story with a highly optimistic approach to technology. Leonardo DaVinci to Wright brothers did a lot of research and experimentation to get something to fly. And using braking forces to completely rewind the spring motors borders on a perpetual motion machine. Even with all that I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am well on the way thru the second book.
    Simple fun read
This was a simple and enjoyable read. There was some suspense that permeated throughout the story, and I think that was the goal of the author, but the resounding theme was hope. The suspense is borderline predictable with a few twists, but it is relatively linear. That does not mean it is bad, but if you approach it as a simple fun read, I do not believe you will be disappointed if you view the book in that light. I would say this is not steampunk, but it is close. While the characters were not fully developed, and most of the characters you only were able to see a one-dimensional side. However, you did see development, and that is what any good story should include. Here is another way to put it, I liked it so much that I bought the other two books without hesitation. If you do like this book and you like steampunk, look up Free Wrench.
    Entrancing read. Highly Recommended.
She is a half breed orphan. He is a human with skills to make an airplane at a time when there was no such thing.
There is a war between the humans and the elves. Brewer's mother was an eleven princes and her father was a human ambassador.
Breeze becomes the link that will bind the humans and the elves after a traitor is revealed.
I just bought books two and three in the trilogy.

    Decent enough.
a nice little story about a Prince learning how to be a good man before reclaiming the throne. not perfect, but it kept me listening all the way through.
An Immaculate Epic Adventure with Realism in a Fastastical Setting
I've read and listened to several shorts by C J Brightley. Although they did not blow me away, the storytelling was exceptional for an Indie author.
Going into this full length novel, I anticipated more and was treated to a world building full of wonderment with characters so deeply rooted with self conviction and meaning, it was easy to get lost in it.
This must have been professionally edited and cultivated for years. It flowed easily, despite the complexity of the quests and plot.
The narrator was ideal for this storytelling. It was to listen and remain entranced with the book.
A throwback to true epic books. This book isn't a "light" book, but it will entrap a listener or reader until the final words.
Snarky main characters are fine (once in a while) but I was so over it. This book had the characters we connect with and care about.
No love triangles! Although this could be YA, it does not have that annoyance!
Characters grow because of events and knowledge, not because it's plot driven.
Conversations are smooth and believable. It's not forced not stilted.
Descriptive writing! For a first person POV, it is not over burdened with monotonous, tedious details. Only somewhat occasionally stilted, this the 4 stars for the story- but more like 4.50, just not quite 5.
I recommend this to everyone who wants a GOOD book to curl up with.
I was offered an audible code but freely and enthusiastically offer my review and opinions.
    Enjoyable
A long book with lots of twists and turns and emotions. The kid Prince grew up along the way and became the man King. Somewhere along their way the arrogant child became humble. I HIGHLY recommend this book
An interesting story about a prince and a soldier
The King's Sword is an interesting story about a prince on the run and a retired soldier who rescues him. The narrator does a good job reading the story, and his voice is pleasant, though his reading is not particularly lively.
A worthy performance of a favorite tale
I was delighted to discover the audio version of this book and added it to my library, in the process purchasing the electronic version for the 3rd time :-) This is the kind of story I've spent the last 40 years searching out, ever since I finished LOTR the first time. The author has put enough thought into her world building to provide a sense of history, multiple cultures, and motivations supported by economics and terrain. The characters are dimensional and grow as the plot progresses.

    Good, yet unsatisfactory
I enjoyed the narration of this book. I didn't enjoy how disjointed the story was.
    Missing the last chapter
the story was good but I had to go to the book to find out how it ended.
The epilogue for book 3 is missing!
    good story
but the epilogue four book 3 is missing
I wish the final epilogue told more about the characters.
    worth listening to
Fair story, narration falls a little flat. I didn't feel like stabbing myself in the face listening to the narrator. Story is typical young hero wow I can't believe this is adventuring look it's a monster. but it's decent. I'm not a writer so pardon the grammar.
    bad eending
books started off with a lot of details and back story but then ended abruptly. ending was rushed and ruined the series

She doesn't know much about him, but she does know he's a slayer who strikes fear in the hearts of dragons everywhere. There's no way he's going to approve of his daughter shacking up with one of the beasts - even one that is half human.
The presents may be under the tree, but yuletide cheer isn't on the calendar for Bailey and Aidan.

shorter than I would have liked but a good book
this book was a pleasant surprise nice to see a little Joe and the dragon rum it had interesting twist and turns I really think you'll like it
Short story --Must Read! Essential informaiton
Firstly, I must admit, I find most short stories or novellas disappointing. Don't yell yet--It is because the storylines are lacking and usually hold no importance to the storyline. I guess I want more from a short story then most authors offer. Again--this is ME--But you will find my reviews truthful.
The only authors I trust to come up with a good shorter story ( and this point is well proven) is Patricia Briggs, J R Ward, Faith Hunter and now Susan Illene.
This short story is really a continuation from book 3. It will tell you about situations that have already begun in previous books ---are leading to and how the changes effect the characters lives.
    Questions answered are:
    1) Where Bailey (slayer) and Aiden (shifter) are in their relationship.
    2) What happens at the Mating Festival--and how that will change to Bailey and Aidan's life.
    3) What about Dragamoss?
    4) What about Wayne (Bailey's slayer father), when he shows up by surprise?
    5) And we can't forget the major dragon fight--Biggest Dragons Ever Seen!!!!
You will just have to listen/read it all for yourself. So much information in a short story--great job. So worth the credit to listen/read to.
Excellently written, by Susan Illene and superbly narrated by Marguerite Gavin

If you enjoy fantasy at its best, this is a must
Stagger and Infidel are bounty hunters searching for highly prized dragon bones. While chased by pygmies, Stagger accidentally stabs and kills himself with his bone knife, and is transformed into a ghost tied to his knife, he must go where it goes. Infidel, the beautiful warrior with impenetrable skin and unnatural strength, mourns his death, not knowing Stagger is still following her. She joins a strange band of magical warriors and priests to slay the elemental dragon, Greatshadow, to free the world of his control of fire.
This is an extremely complex story with imaginative characters and demons. Maxey paints a richly detailed world of magic and adventure: impenetrable armor that only exists as long as long as 300 monks pray for its existence, a deceiver who can change reality by convincing others of his lies, a mercenary who can change into an animal from the tattoos on his body, an ice priestess who can freeze anything with a touch and many, many more. The storys originality and fresh ideas alone are worth the visit, but it is the richly developed characters that will keep the listener enjoying the ride.
The plot is far too complex to describe here. Each character has his or her own reason for searching out the elemental dragon, Greatshodow. One wants to kill it for king and country, others just for the money, another as an enslaved magician and Infidel to bury her grief. It is an epic adventure that will satisfy fantasy lovers.
Jake Urry performs the story magnificently. He brings the story to life with his exceptional voice and character portrayals. A beautiful dance of narrator and story and a pleasure to listen to.
Greatshadow is a thoroughly entertaining action adventure fantasy. It even throws a bit of philosophy into the mix about when messing with nature is going too far. It is book one in the series, but stands alone as a complete novel. Youll definitely want to listen to book two when it is available. If you enjoy fantasy at its best, this is a must listen. Highly recommended.

My only negative comment is that I have to wait so long for the next installment!
