Perfect Love story

OMG, I so fell in Love with Alex Logan even more then when I met him in Unexpected Chance. This story picks up where it left off. Aubrey has things to deal with, her blindness, her hurt about Chance being really Alex, needing to trust, her panic attacks. Through it all Alex shows her he will be there for her and is willing to do anything to prove it. He never stopped loving her, he has his on insecurities to work through. But can they come out of this stronger, make a life with each other. Alex and Aubrey learn to depend on the Love they have to get them through anything even her blindness. Alex doesnt treat her any different with her being blind. The author wrote an amazing story, she takes you on a journey with Aubrey and Alex. I did not want to put this book down and am kind of sad to see this story end. Joanne Schwehm bring home the story. I would totally recommend this story.

Amazing ending!!

Ahhh this was the absolute perfect ending to this little story. Aubrey and Alex are soulmates. They have to fight for their happy ending and they fought so strong. they will not let anyone stop them from being happy. Some characters you love to hate and then end up loving them too. I hope that Julie and Brett can get their happy ever after too. So many amazing things happen and others keep you wanting more. amazing read. I am looking forward to more Amazing stories by this fantastic author. highly recommended!!

PERFECT

We get the conclusion to Audrey and Alex here. Their journey has been anything but easy, yet not hard. The love, they've lost, and are determined to find each other.

Alex, as I said before, is the perfect BBF to me. Audrey is now one of my favorite characters. She dug deep. She asked the hard questions. She fought her demons. All with Alex having her back, whether she knew it or not. The author gives you a twist here that I wasn't sure how I'd feel about, but she nailed it and I loved it. READ this series and feel your heart swell with love, pride, and happiness.

So sweet!

This one was so much better than the first one. I still wasn't crazy with the fact that he lied to her about who he was when she was at her most vulnerable but in the end it was SOOO worth it. They were so sweet together I think I might have gotten a small case of diabetes.

Aubrey was a lot stronger in this book and of course that made her better.

Alex was adorably sweet and a little too perfect if there is such a thing.

Two hot as hell cops live nextdoor. What's a girl to do.

I received an ARC for this book.

Grant and David introduce themselves to Toni and her younger brother when they help them move in.

Toni is a new reporter at the paper. She has been her brothers guardian since she was eighteen.

Her brother makes a questionable friend. Which leads to legal troubles.

David says that her brother is the cause of the problem even though he knows that isn't really the case. David will ultimately be the one to make the first move. Then comes Grant.

Summer Cooper tells an excellent story with this book. I absolutely had to buy it.

This was a good read. It had an interesting plot. I liked the characters. There was a little bit of drama and a lotv of passion.

She wants the cops next door..both of them

Toni has had a rough life. she lost her parents at 18 and instantly become mother to her younger brother. She struggled to raise him and get through college but now hopefully her struggles are over. She has her degree and her dream job as a reporter plus her brother has a scholarship to college next year. She and her brother move to town and get a rental next to two gorgeous guys David and Grant. They are two hot cops but she knows she has no chance.

Grant and David have been best friends for years and partners on the force for ten years. They enjoy doing things together especially women. The are both drawn to Toni but they never fool around in their back yard so they give up any idea of being with Toni. Then they get called to a failed drug deal/explosion and find Toni's brother hurt at the scene. Grant immediately goes to get Toni and helps her get to the hospital. He sides with Toni that her brother is innocent. David is not so sure. He is afraid that the brother is gotten in with bad company and is making poor decisions.In reality, he is fighting his strong attraction to Toni.

Toni is very attracted to both Grant and David but the problem is she wants both of them and David showed no interest until her brother gets arrested. David hints that he will help her with freeing her brother if she will sleep with him. The kiss they do to seal the deal is so hot that Toni forgets why she is doing it. That night she goes to David and Grant and they have a passionate night together. She is falling for her sexy cops.

This is a good book with lots of heat and the characters have a lot of depth. David and Grant have to help clear Toni's brother name or his future goes down the toilet. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Charming, funny and heart warming!!!

This is the second book in this series. I stated before I don't like these types of reality shows but I have loved both of these books.

The characters in this story, Marcy Henrickson who is a romance writer is a closed off type person. She keeps her feelings very close. She has come on the Romancing Miss Right Show mainly to boost her sales as a NY Times Best Selling Author. But finding love would be nice, and since she is the one choosing, she may not get her heart broken right?

Craig Corrow is radio personality wanting to further his career and get into daytime television, he isn't there to find the love of his life, just to make himself get noticed. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, but its all about him.

But then these two meet, Craig doesn't see Marcy as a fake person but as someone he likes. He wants to get to know her better, and could he falling in love with her? But if he is forced to choose between money and his job or Marcy and love, what would his choice be?

Marcy can't get Craig out of her head. She knows he is in it for himself, he is honest about that. He is a bad boy, but is there more to him than that? He makes her laugh, and the way he looks at her.

This is a wonderful story of love between two people who are not sure about love or how they feel about it, or if true ever lasting love even exists. One feels its best to play it safe and the other is not safe at all. They explore a lot of feelings both good and bad, lots of up and downs. They have a lot of laughs and some tears, but is it enough to find true love in the end? It's a wonderful sweet story full of emotion. Lizzie has written another winner in my opinion and I can't wait to read the next one in April.

Beauty and the Butt-head

For somebody that hates The Bachelor/Bachelorette with the heat of a thousand suns, this book called to me and I actually really enjoyed it. That's high praise coming from someone who is forced to watch these shows for work related purposes.

I think what ultimately appealed to me about the story was that both of the characters weren't looking for (or really believed in) love.

Good

Yeah, there are some editing issues but you know what? If a story can still suck you in, you look past them.

So Cal, ugh I wanted to smack him about the head so many times! Especially when he slept with that chick moments after crushing Tayla. Men, you don't do those things if you really love someone!

Tayla, I've seen some bashing her and I have to wonder why?

Should she have so easily gone back to the person who treated her so poorly? Trust is a hard won thing when someone has previously burned that bridge.

The stuff with Axe was heartbreaking, but I liked that it was handled well. I had no issues with that, and none with who was in the epilogue.

I was happy to see Cal and Tay's story and felt like ...

I almost lost this book in my never ending TBR pile. I was happy to see Cal and Tay's story and felt like it had the great mix of pain and love I've come to expect from this series. I think I've figured out Noah's love interest from the next book, but I hope I'm wrong because I am not happy with this chick. Again, I wish someone would have proofed this writing so it wasn't distracting me from the story.

I have read them all now. I hadn't realized I had purchased this one way prior to the others. I must say my eyes got a good cleaning out. I read some of the reviews that have been posted ( the negative ones). And I feel for you that all you saw was the drug. I guess one might have to have some depth to them to get the point here. I do hope we get a little more from the characters in the future, and please no sadness. I am aware that most music is written from pain, but there are some out there written from joy, alsoâï. I want babies for Cassa. And happiness for Sam. But the most for the one who has suffered the mostâïhope you read all of the stories and fall in love with them as I did.

Love this series

Another engaging story!

Im enjoying this audiobook series by Jo Raven very much. Her characters never fail to make you feel empathy and the story is both moving and entertaining. Seth has had a hard life, both physically and emotionally. The heroine, Mignon, has a emotional loneliness you can just feel. The two of them are mad for each other, they just have to realize that fact. Narration was well done.

Told, not Showed

2.5 story & overall

The story is ok, and the narrator helped a great deal. It's told from Megan's point of view almost entirely; it's really her story. Unfortunately, the last half of the story is only told about and not showed. We're told that Megan did this and did that without taking us along for the ride so that we could actually see it and experience it too. I get it; it's done to expedite time, months and get us to the resolution, the end. But it sucks as a book listener. The whole point of entering into another world and experiencing is lost almost entirely in the last half of the book; that's a lot in a story this short.

Romance and humor

Great love story with a lot of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed all three books in this series. You wonât be disappointed. A group of young adults are like family to each other. Each book tells the story of one couple and how theyâve gotten together. And everyone is in all three books.

Unlikable characters

I struggled with the first book in this series, but thought I'd give this one a chance to see if it got better. I couldn't even finish this book and deleted it from my Kindle. Hard to like a "heroine" who has absolutely no respect for herself and little sense of responsibility. She behaves more like a desperate teenager than a 30-something adult. When the character of her sister was introduced I thought she was a teen - nope! - the sister is 27. Just too much immaturity in these adults.

another McKinlay hit

I love Jenn's new series, this one is a 10+++++!

can't say enough good things about it. Get your copy and spend the day being entertained.

Enjoyable

I have read several of McKinlay's books and this series has been enjoyable. I hope she continues down this avenue!

Such a wonderful story to listen to!

We loved this book about Linnea and Logan! It's so fun to watch them get to know one another as they design a garden together. Logan's messed up childhood led him to believe that nobody could ever trust him. Linnea was too sheltered as a child to be able to grow up, and now she now must try to break the chrysalis that is all she's ever know. Now they must both learn how to be grownups or risk losing the love of their life forever. Such a great listen!

Sweet Christian Romance

While the romance of the main characters was sweet I was fascinated by the idea of self sufficiency with food. I think the words used were food security. With everything going on in our world today this subject really hits home. Using our resources intelligently and planning for a more secure future. The story weaves strong Christian values and the temptations of relationships.
