    Publisher's Summary:
Colorado psychologist Kismet Knight and the dark world of vampires are back in this sexy, romantic sequel to the wicked romp The Vampire Shrink.
Still reeling from the so-called vampire murders around Halloween, Kismet is trying to adjust to her new otherworldly patients and her unique relationship with drop-dead gorgeous nightwalker Devereux. She cant deny her attraction to him, but is his intoxicating hold on her a loving embrace or vice-like grip? And while Devereux has been clear about what hell do to any immortal who lay a fang on her, Kismet is still being stalked by Lucifer, the obsessed bloodsucker targeting therapists for death.
With Kismet scheduled to make a presentation at the American Psychological Associations New York conference, handsome FBI agent Alan Stevens feels its too risky to let her go without him. Not only is he concerned that the conference is a psychologist smorgasbord too juicy for Lucifer to pass up, but there is also some unfinished personal business with Kismet to be settled.
Can Alan - or Devereux - track down the elusive Lucifer? Or is Kismet destined to confront him herself?

A psychologist with a little something extra.
What did you love best about Blood Therapy?
Kismet's funny self talk especially when the vampires could hear her thoughts.
What did you like best about this story?
    Showing vulnerability of the vampires.
    Any additional comments?
Some of the dialogue was difficult to understand when the narrator used a voice like old movie vampires.
    Blood Therapy
I love this book the author wrote this with action, comedy, and romance all in one. I like how she made you feel like you was right there in the story.
    Good Series
What did you love best about Blood Therapy?
    Kismet interal banter with herself.
Who was your favorite character and why?
    Kismet. His is hilaroius!
Which character as performed by Kate Rudd was your favorite?
Kismet. She does a better job with female voices.
Vampires need therapy too! Very entertaining
Where does Blood Therapy rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
At the top of my list, up there with Molly Harpers Werewolf books. A totally entertaining read. Characters are interesting and the book sucks you right in.
What other book might you compare Blood Therapy to and why?
Its a vampire book, with a new and exciting twist.
    Which scene was your favorite?
When Devereux (vampire boyfriend)popped into Kismet's hotel room and she and the FBI Agent were in bed, but it wasn't what it looked like. Devereux jumped to conclusions. It was funny. I found myself laughing out loud, which happened several times in the two books
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    Yes, but I didn't, I savored it.
    Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed reading this series so far, I can't wait for the third book. Blood Therapy wasn't as steamy or romantic as the first book. Although, I must say the drama and action was intense.
I liked the reader better in Vampire Shrink than Blood Therapy, but just a personal preference. Both were good.

    Darker than most
Hunter's Praye is about a paranormal slayer type, but in an alternate world where our hero, Jill Kismet, works closely with police. She has a were-jaguar boyfriend, who I think is smoking hot and too good for her. She also has some sort of covenant with a demon named Pericles, who grants her supernatural powers beyond her human reach, in exchange for an hour spent with him every month.
This is the second book in the series, the demon relationship has some strong S&M undertones. Pericles makes Jill tie him up and whip him, or beat on him, or whatever else (though it doesn't get explicit). Hoping she'll crack, and abandon her humanity.
In the book a bunch of hookers are getting murdered, young ones, who were pregnant. Jill, formerly of the street walker life, takes it personally. But Jill is running on fumes, misses the big picture, and gets caught up in events, that threaten to take her out permanently.
    Can it get better?
If you liked the first book of this series, you're going to love this one! Hunter's Prayer is one long high of suspense and surprise from beginning to end. And the end only leaves you wanting more of the same. I hate reviews that contain spoilers so all I'll say is, Kismet survives....
    a great heroine
Once I got started with this series I could not put it down. The characters are interesting and different, the world believable. Jill is a complex heroine and easy to identify with. It is a fascinating and fast paced read. A series I will happily reread.
    Fantastic
I love Jill Kismet , she is fierce, cunning, flawed, but a warrior with a huge heart. A character you root for.
    awesome!
Been reading this series all along and this one did not disappoint! Awesome addition and can't wait for the next installment!

    Publisher's Summary:
Book Two in the Skindancer series.
Dakota Frost is back, and the ink is about to hit the fan-again.
Graffiti comes to life in the dark heart of Atlanta's oldest cemetery, slaying one of the city's best-loved vampires before the eyes of his friend Dakota Frost. Deadly magick is at work on the city's walls, challenging even the amazing power of Dakota's tattoos to contain it. The hungry, graffiti magick loves to kill, and the Edgeworld is no longer safe from its own kind.
Dakota begins a harrowing journey to save those she loves and to discover the truth behind the spreading graffiti - even if that truth offends the vampires, alienates the werekin and creates police suspicion of her every action.
Saving Atlanta may cost her everything, including custody of her "adopted" weretiger daughter, Cinnamon. But failure is not an option. If the graffiti isn't stopped, Cinnamon could be the next victim.

Uneven but fun 2nd volume in Skindancer series
In this 2nd book of Anthony Francis's Skindancer series, we find Dakota Frost (skin dancer/tattoo artist) combatting magical graffiti in Atlanta. We are re-introduced to the wonderful world of vampires, were kin and wizards. Wonderful premise and setting. Unfortunately, the writing is still uneven (as in the debut novel, "Frost Moon.") I never really felt engaged to any of the characters (but, I am becoming fond of Cinnamon, Dakota's adopted were kin daughter, even though her speech sometimes reminds me of a fowl-mouthed Jar Jar Binks.)
The book drags a bit and got too informative on graffiti and tattoos. The action scenes are good, though. This is a good read if you are looking for some escapism.
Again, Traci Odom, the narrator, delivers with distinct characterizations.
    Waiting for no 3
Would you listen to Blood Rock again? Why?
Looked for the next installment, not out yet unfortunately. Characters are believable and intriguing and evolving. Great universe.
What other book might you compare Blood Rock to and why?
Jane Yellowrock series. Also strong multidimentional heroine and great universe.
Which character as performed by Traci Odom was your favorite?
    Can't say.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Many of the scenes between Dakota Frost and her adopted daughter are interesting.
    Any additional comments?
Looking forward to the next installment, hopefully with the same narrator who is doing a great job!
    Pretty good follow up
I liked it. It was really long, which I typically like longer books, but it seems like a lot could have been cut out without losing anything. Some of the dialogue was forced and repetitive or maybe redundant. And some chapters seem like they could have been cut altogether, like having lunch with her father. We could have learned what we learned there from any source... Like cinnamons school. Otherwise, I think I liked it better than the first book. Cinnamon turned into my favorite character, there was real growth in everyone and big changes happened. It's setting its self up to be an interesting series.
Excellent UF that you won't want to put down
This was a fantastic follow up to Frost Moon.

Length: 7 hrs and 52 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 09-18-12

    Publisher's Summary:
There's a nasty flu going round. An epidemic, they call it. The posters say to cover your mouth when you sneeze, and throw away the tissue. But such simple measures won't stop this flu. Because when you catch this flu, armed police come and lock you in your house to die alone. When you catch this flu, it kills you in days. And when you catch this flu, two hours after it's killed you, your eyelids snap open again....
Flu is a pacey, terrifying, frighteningly real zombie horror story.
    Critic Reviews:
"Simmons writes like the grotesque love child of George A. Romero and Charles Dickens." (Physical Graffiti)
    Members Reviews:
    zombie story?
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
    not downloading it
What could Wayne Simmons have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
please don't write a zombie like book and have them as a background detail, like the lamp was on, oh there are flesh eating things in the hall, what's for dinner?
Would you be willing to try another one of Michael Kramers performances?
as long as it is not a zombie story
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Flu?
    start middle and end
    Any additional comments?
I would ask for a refund but I think that this author may need as much money as he can get to order Zombie fallout and find out what a zombie is before trying again.
    Poorly Written
Would you try another book from Wayne Simmons and/or Michael Kramer?
    Nope
What was most disappointing about Wayne Simmonss story?
None of the characters were interesting or believable. He gave me no reason to care about any of them.
Which character as performed by Michael Kramer was your favorite?
I wanted them all to be eaten by the zombies in the end.
What character would you cut from Flu?
I stopped listening when I realized that I wanted all the characters to just die already. I was rooting for the zombies. Ugh.
    Any additional comments?
The zombies-in-Ireland theme is pretty cool, but the execution was atrocious.
    Painful to listen to
I've never read anything by Wayne Simmons before, however, after struggling to get 1/4 through this book, and finally giving up, I don't think I'll ever read anything by him again. I finally just gave up and called it unreadable.
I've yet to figure out who the main char. is, or what the story is about - it starts off as a typical Zombie story, people turning undead, then wanders off into some girl that's being held captive by some guy. From there it only got worse.
Sick with Flu to Zombie, it could happen
Well, I can hope all I want and not get what I want. Flu: Flu Series, Book 1 is definitely of the psychological zombie thriller variety. While this may not be what I was expecting I was able, after about 3 1/2 hours to get into the storyline. I have found that most zombie stories are the same virus infection, wide spread panic, complete anarchy, survivors trying to survive, the military up to something. But what is different between then all are the details of how the author tries to make their story different enough to stand on its own. The one major difference I found with this audiobook was that one doesnt have to be bitten by a zombie or die, bit one can just become a zombie spontaneously.

There was a new shop in town. Run by a stranger. Needful Things, the sign said. The oddest name. A name that caused some gossip and speculation among the good folks of Castle Rock, Maine, while they waited for opening day. Eleven-year-old Brian Rusk was the first customer and he got just what he wanted, a very rare 1956 Sandy Koufax baseball card. Signed. Cyndi Rose Martin was next. A Lalique vase. A perfect match for her living room decor. Something for everyone. Something you really had to have. And always at a price you could just about afford. The cash price that is. Because there was another price. There always is when your heart's most secret, true desire is for sale.

    Members Reviews:
    Hang in there.
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Not bad, at first it took some time for me to get used to Stephen King's raspy voice, I am not always a fan of Authors reading their own work, just because you can write dosn't mean you should read it. However, once through that it was ok.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The characters, I always like Kings mix of busy characters coming and going and their individual lives within the story. As usual I am finding all this effort goes into the story and characters yet the ends don't seem to hold or produce the impact I expected.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The use of Raul Esparza [Narrator for Under the Dome] may have been a better choice than the Author himself.
Could you see Needful Things being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
This book was made into a movie in the 80's I believe.
    Any additional comments?
All in all an ok book to listen to, just allow yourself to get beyond Mr King's rough voice.
    Enjoy.
    Great Book and narration
Great story and wonderful narration from the author. The only thing out of place is the music. Totally unnecessary. Still worth a listen though!
Typical early King quality, poor performance
Why did King narrate this himself? How on earth has he been allowed to narrate 3 (that I know of) of his books? He really needs to stick to the writing, at which he's brilliant. As a narrator... Let's just say I don't think he'd make a living if that was his day job. Good story, but perhaps not up to the awesome standard of most of the work he's produced in the last few years, but hard to recommend in terms of this recording because of his boring, toneless and dreary delivery.
    Needful things
The best reader I hat the pleasure listening to.
    The best writer.
I only rate books with stars and don't write a review.
This is my first review. It was so good I must say something.
    Wonderfully compelling
Would you listen to Needful Things again? Why?
I would listen to this over and over. This book keeps you entranced from beginning to end. This was the second book of Stephen King's I have read and it will not be last.

    Any additional comments?
This book was surprisingly sexy and full of the traditional vampire cliches...no sunlight, crosses, holy water, etc...the narrator is one of the best of heard. There was a vast difference between her voice in narration and the voice of the characters. I'm excited to listen to the series. You'll like this if you like the "White Trash Zombie" series by Diana Rowland.
Frater brings the darkness back to vampires!
I received this audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review. I did not receive any compensation for my review, and the views expressed herein are my own.
Frater brings the darkness back to vampires! The story is a bit gory at times, which serves to remind us that vampires are lethal beasts.
Amaliya Vezorak, a 24 year old woman, is a bit of a loner and social outcast. She dyed her blonde hair black, and she is covered in tattoos and piercings. She feels like she has never really fit in anywhere, and her appearance only adds to the problem. Her mom was stricken with cancer when Amaliya was a young girl, and her father started an affair with Amaliyas 18 year old cousin before her mom had even passed away! Amaliyas cousin eventually became her step-mother. All Amaliya wanted to do was to go away to college and get away from her family. However, when she received the shocking news that her younger sister, Rachel, was terminally ill, Amaliya left college to return home to take care of her.
After her sister dies, Amaliya returns to college and enrolls in a psychology class that is being taught by a prestigious professor from England. Unbeknownst to Amaliya, the Professor is not just a vampire but also a necromancer: He can control the dead. He bites Amaliya but, just before she dies, he gives her some of his own blood and then buries her in the woods. After she awakens, she is mad with the hunger. She crashes a dorm party and slaughters them all, and she realizes that she cannot stay. She sets out to try to find others of her kind and to learn to survive. She eventually meets up with Cian, who was also created by the Professor, and he agrees to help Amaliya learn some survival skills.
Underneath her tough persona, Amaliya is just like anyone else and wants to fit in. She longs for that acceptance of self and peace in her life. I liked her character, and I was amused by her cheekiness. I wanted Amaliya to find that happiness that she was seeking.

Vampires have always lived among them, quietly attacking unsuspecting debutantes and dandified lords as well as hackney drivers and Bond Street milliners. If not for the vampire slayers of the Gardella family, these immortal creatures would have long taken over the world. In every generation, a Gardella is called to accept the family legacy, and this time, Victoria Gardella Grantworth is chosen, on the eve of her debut, to carry the stake.
But as she moves between the crush of ballrooms and dangerous, moonlit streets, Victoria's heart is torn between London's most eligible bachelor, the Marquess of Rockley, and her enigmatic ally, Sebastian Vioget. And when she comes face to face with the most powerful vampire in history, Victoria must ultimately make the choice between duty and love.
    Members Reviews:
    Unique take on vampire hunting!
This is a unique take on vampire hunting, with the central character being a young debutante in Regency England. Victoria would like to concentrate on finding a husband during her first season, but she is descended from the Gardella family, legendary vampire hunters called Venators. So she must choose to do her duty and use the gifts she was born with, plus those she gains by vowing to be a Venator, or refuse the task and have her memory wiped.
Complicating matters are the three men in her life: Phillip, who takes her breath away in the ballroom; Max, her stubborn vampire-hunting partner; and Sebastian, a mystery-man who deals with both vampires and mortals.
As the Venators try to stop the leader of the vampires, Lilith, from gaining more power, Victoria struggles to lead a normal life. Can she find love when she always has to be on guard with a stake at the ready?
This was a great beginning to the Gardella Vampire Hunters series, and I'm looking forward to seeing Victoria's character develop in the rest of the series.
    Great 1st in the series
I love this Gardella series for many reasons. 1.) I love Jane Austin and this is a completely different spin on that time period - which I love! 2.) The characters are wonderfully developed! 3.) I really feel like I'm part of the book. It's one of those series that you can really invest yourself in and relate to certain events or ideas...even though it's about vampires! 4.) It's not a cheezy vampire novel. It has depth, and meaning, and plenty of gore! 5.) While it has plenty of fighting and exciting events to keep your heart and mind racing, it has excellent love scenes to keep your mind and heart racing as well! 6.) As much as you want to dislike Victoria for making certain decisions with people , you can't help but love her!
A Bright New Take on Vampire Hunters!
I love the whole "Gardella" series. Colleen Gleason came up with a whole new way of portraying a "vampire hunter" by placing her heroine in the early 1900's, I believe, and it works out brilliantly! The book is filled with twists and turns, and plenty of action. I kept wanting to race ahead to find out what happened next! Love this series! One of the main items I liked about the series is that Ms. Gleason really did her research on the time period. She adds small snippets of historical information that make you feel you are there with the characters.

    Nice Storyline Poor Narrator
Would you try another book from Cat Adams and/or Arika Escalona?
Yes to Cat Adams, I will try to avoid Arika.
How could the performance have been better?
It is hard to tell thoughts from speech, and multiple character scenes become a muddle of who is speaking.
Was The Isis Collar worth the listening time?
I almost gave up on the audiobook and switched to the book multiple times. If I didn't have a long commute, I would have.
    Another Great Adventure
The Isis Collar continues Celia Graves story as an investigator with new and unusual powers (part Vampire and Siren - unusual, right?). I recommend this book as a great escape into an alternate universe with very entertaining characters. Nothing deep going on here, but just a fun and entertaining 9 hrs and 38 minutes, that I consider well worth the credit I spent.
    What you should know:
-Not a stand-alone book, previous books must be read to understand the character interaction.
-While this is an entertaining book, no major progress is made within Celia's world as relates to her powers, or her relationships... What you knew at the end of book 3, is pretty much what you know at the end of book 4. However, the story is a great adventure within Celia's world and shouldn't be missed if you enjoyed the previous 3.

GOOD STORY, LIKE OTHER NARRATOR BETTER!

    it was a good story...
What other book might you compare Dying Days to and why?
Its in the zombie genre..so its basically your search and stay safe kind of book, and beware of other survivors!
What three words best describe Amanda M. Lehmans performance?
She was ok.... The narrator for the Darlene Bobich book was really good...I wish shewould have done these next ones too...
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
    I did laugh a bit...
    Any additional comments?
I like this series...but I wish we had the narrator from the Darlene Bobich book for these other books too...she is ok, but just my preference...I like that Darlene has found safety for now, and made some friends....lets see how long it lasts! On to the next one!
    Great story!
Overall, a great story. I've read Armand Rosamilia's other works and when I saw this on Audible figured I'd give it a try. Glad I did!
17 when the world as you know it came to an end.
If you could sum up Dying Days in three words, what would they be?
    Knowing who you can trust.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Darlene Bobich. She was a tough cookie for being so young and handled herself well.
What does Amanda M. Lehman bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
She did a good job with the book.
    A new outlook on Zombies!!
I have read a lot of books about zombies but Armand puts a new spin on the zombie that I hadn't seen before. His story kept me interested throughout the entire thing and I was left wanting for more. Can't wait to read more of his books to see where this story goes!
    Hard to listen to.
Difficult to listen to the narrator, she sounded bored or stoned. The storyline was good but jumped around too much for such a short story.
