The quality of information in this book is as close to being a zero as I can imagine. It was a total waste of my time and energy.

What could Curt Matsen have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He could have eliminated droning on and on about addresses and telephone numbers and set forth substantive "why's" for filing. This was like reading a first grade book: See Sally run? See Jane run?

Would you be willing to try another one of Phil Bakers performances?

There are no characters other than an author who apparently gets paid by the word, thus squeezes everyone of them to death and beyond.

Don't buy this; keep looking and avoid anything this author offers. He uses this form to try to solicit new business. If I were on my last leg being pulled into the prison cell by the ugliest G-Man, I would NOT hire this fellow. Ever.

A good introductory account

This brief tutorial on offshore banking of course omits various advanced complexities. But it is a fine first look. The author constantly has an eye on compliance issues which is a good approach, because this is not a place for people to tread uninformed.

Very useful resource

Good narration, practical and sound advice. Obviously written by an experienced trader. Combined with other books on trading psychology it will take your trading to a higher level since over trading is a common sin we all commit.

Concise and effective

I liked this audiobook quite a bit. Lots of good points. Mr. Thomas says he has ADD and I have ADD as well so I like his approach. He is focused on controlling human flaws through self analysis and creating rules with the purpose of controlling yourself and avoiding temptation.

Short effective and to the point!

Met my expectations and more, narrator was great. Great and easy to apply metafors, right from the start with the "employed trader" story, it made me change my thinking and lost most of the fear and got curious instead! So it had all I wanted and more!(wanted to lose my fear, but got the extra gift of curiousity). Highly recommend this for any trader since it contains the tools to constantly improve yourself.

And for the value/price ratio it's a gem!

great insight, helpful perspectives

I highly recommend this book for anyone who has received help from their parents or grandparents, financial or otherwise. The concepts, trends and scenarios described here are universal as all of us strives to become successful individuals. These authors help to sort out the true benefits and drawbacks of privilege and, in doing so, provide clear guidelines for everything from coming of age to raising your own children. They make it ok to struggle, no matter your circumstances. They also reinforce your personal responsibility to overcome those struggles and the importance of doing so.

Lots of fluff

The use of Homer's Odyssey to frame the discussion was the best part of the whole book.

This book would best be suited for those who like to think about their situation, and then continue to think about their situation. There were very few pieces of practical advice. Lots of new age thinking. The authors created their own words which I never enjoy.
