Cathie Sudlow is professor of neurology at the University of Edinburgh, and Clinical Epidemiology Chief Scientist for UK Biobank, and has successfully combined a career in research with clinical practice.

Patrick Collins, a medical student at the University of Glasgow, asks her how she's achieved this, the pros and cons of working in the two areas, and her advice for students wanting to do the same.
