For some reason, celebrities seem to have a lot of skeletons in their closets.  Sometimes literally.  The general mindset seems to be that if a person agrees with you now, all past transgressions are forgiven.  Whether you call this charitable or cultish probably depends on whether or not you're the one being agreed with.  One thing is for certain, however: if you want to make money, don't make a Christmas movie.  Unless the Grinch is in it.
