The San Francisco Giants went 4-2 this week thanks in part to solid pitching, but the bigger news was the preponderance of great news coming from the bats in Double-A and Triple-A. Has the organization really put it all together in player development? Dare we hope to dream?

Of course, the biggest news happened right as we ended our recording: Brandon Crawford appeared in his first professional game as a pitcher and looked great doing it! Meanwhile, the Giants optioned Joey Bart. A sign of the end or is there a chance he and the team can still salvage some value? And, is it weird, wrong, or both that the Giants are really into cutting corners when it comes to spending on their Spanish language broadcasts?
