Humility is such an effective tool - it releases you to do what you know in your heart of hearts is correct by factoring out the ego in the process and swallowing pride to move your personal meter.  To say the least, it's a survival of the creative technique, and it's attractive.  No one likes someone who is committed to a belief they no longer believe in but need to save face.  FUGLY.  

Yeah, you can tell by this title that it won't be overly serious today.  Listen how David's new friend, Lauren, keeps her head on a swivel when it comes to the endless opportunities for road rage.  The biggest lesson is that all you need to do to radically change your paradigm of thinking is to alter your perspective.  This is the modern-day version of when you were told by your speech teacher to imagine everyone in their underwear!   Brilliant, yet simple.   

What a random thing to say, and an even more random story that is 100% fact. The idea of "putting the ball in play" and getting yourself out there increases the chances for not only more connection with humanity, but allows the universe to do it job.  How many have these types of stories?  It's not hard to manifest, you simply have to want it and then act like it.  

David and Michelle examine how when you stick to what you believe in, it can, and often does, work out in the end.  In this case, unlike the classic tune.... David fought the law and David won.  He prevailed by staying true to his beliefs and as many others paid dearly, he walked away satisfied with the outcome.  A true lesson for all in this story.  

David is basking in the afterglow of getting back into the cockpit with his solo endorsement.  And while he is full of Gratitude, he shares with Michelle and the audience that he is more thankful for the second chance, and that this experience has left him humbled and deeply aware of how rare and precious second chances are.  If you listen closely, you can catch that he's not talking solely about his flying.  

Michelle and David recount a recent trip that David and Kelly took to a restaurant called "Roger" for brunch.  The display of humanity was more than they could have expected and the contrast between the subjects and their parenting styles couldn't have been more polar.  Where do you lie on this continuum and where were YOUR parents?  A lot to contemplate as you navigate through this turbulent episode riddled with aeronautical jargon.  

Warning - this gets emotional.  David and Michelle recount David's recent stay in Half Moon Bay California in an attempt to heal.  Raw and looking to the universe to deliver a message, it comes in the 11th hour as he was about to give up.  It took 561 episodes for them to crack, and boy, did they.  Resisting temptation to edit and re-record, we left it raw for the listeners.  Enjoy. 

Michelle and David re-open a recent wound that has yet to heal.  On this day dedicated to humility, it's appropriate to share a sequence of events that lead to David's embarrassment.  However, the strong message and lesson involved are well worth exposing his looking like a fool.  Spoiler alert.... it has something to do with Bud.  

A recently challenged David, re-released into the universe with a new level of conviction and faith, emerges.  Living in Plan B with the expectation of a better story than if Plan A had worked out, David is testing his new legs and NOT being the one to engage and be the catalyst for the better story, he is freewheeling it and allowing the universe to prove him right, all while sitting uncomfortably, gagged and bound, waiting for the universe to act without his influence.  Did it work out?  Listen to find out.
