Kelly and David discuss the benefits of a minimalist existence, especially during a time where, thanks to POOR leadership of our nation, "things" are inflated in price.  It's times like these that make you stop and contemplate what you want and what you need.  Things don't bond, things actually open the door to separation.  Take a look around your family.  Who is on a device right at this moment?  Does that "thing" bring you together or push you apart as a family?  Leading by example, the duo are jettisoning their "crap" and making space for more time together, opening up to experiences.  Follow their lead and lead your family out of the great separation.  

Arguably the most mellow episode to date, Kelly and David are struck with a very profound statement, meant to be in passing, in their pursuit for enlightenment at Church today.  The fact that most of us are neither homeless nor homebound is a true opportunity to exercise the theme dedicated to Sundays, gratitude.  The homework today is fairly straight forward but fueled with fresh perspective and emotion.  

Kelly and David are disgusted by what they experience in San Francisco.  It's one thing to be tolerant during a difficult time, it's another to accept incredibly poor leadership.  The irony is so thick given the fact that they were there to take in a play called Hadestown.  The duo immediately noted that San Francisco is the new Hadestown.  On a day dedicated to bonding, it was incredibly challenging to bond with a city that they both lived and worked in but has undeniably been given up on.  While they aren't big on protests, they encourage their listeners to avoid San Francisco until there is either new leadership or a major shift.   

Bonding at it's best.  Living la vida retirement, the duo descend upon the commercial wharf of Monterey in search of the freshest fish to bond anger on this Friday.  But procuring the ingredients, as usual, was not the memorable experience, it was the colorful characters that graced their presence that made this episode what it is.  Later, in the kitchen...... Dancing.  :-)
