Podcast #11 Gifted Neurodivergent's Higher Abilities in Social Intelligence 

In this podcast I continue to discuss the higher abilities found in Gifted Neurodivergence. I disagree with anyone that claims we are socially inept. I believe what we really are is socially more aware. We live in a society where everyone is strongly influenced to stay within the boundaries laid down in our childhood conditioning. Because we are less able to be conditioned, we will stick out as different.
 
 I share a new theory I have on the real value of the labels we are given for learning disabilities or differences. That these labels can be valuable because they indicate how I encode information to my long-term memory. When I see them simply as differences, they can be used to show me how I learn. I also believe that my mood disorders are the opposite side of the spectrum for learning disorders/differences. Mood disorders are how I retrieve information from my long-term memory. My moods deliver the sensory information of the situation I am in. 
 
 When I worked for others my moods very clearly communicated that I was not being told the whole picture and I had to worry about the something that could result in a change to my future stability. My moods delivered information that was overwhelmingly accurate. 
 
I am not an expert, I am not credentialed by the system on neurodivergence. I am a certified futurist, independent researcher of gifted neurodivergence, former techie, parents of gifted neurodivergent children and a gifted neurodivergent myself. The experiences that I am sharing may not reflect how your brain works or how you move through the world. I am sharing them with the hope that they will be a benefit to you, and you might consider returning the favor and sharing with me how you move through the world. The only way we can know how we really work is if we share what we notice about how we are uniquely wired to move through the world.
