    नवंबर में चीन ने हर रोज औसतन रूस से समुद्री मार्ग से साढ़े 10 लाख बैरल तेल मंगवाया। इसके अलावा पाइपलाइन्स से उसने साढ़े आठ लाख बैरल रूसी तेल का प्रति दिन आयात किया। क्रूड रिसर्च नाम की एजेंसी के प्रमुख विक्टर केटोना ने निक्कई एशिया को ये जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा- ‘जहां तक भारत का सवाल है, तो नवंबर में उसने भी प्रति दिन रूस से औसतन लगभग साढ़े दस लाख बैरल तेल का आयात किया। यह अक्टूबर की तुलना में रोजाना लगभग एक लाख बैरल ज्यादा था। दिसंबर में उसकी खरीदारी नवंबर के बराबर ही रहने की आशा है।’

  • एक कानून से 27 करोड़ लोग गुलाम बन गये, ऐसे हुआ बदलाव


    पहली- राष्ट्रपति के खिलाफ बोलना अपराध माना जाएगा। दूसरी- नेशनल आइडियोलॉजी यानी राष्ट्रीय विचारधारा का विरोध भी क्रिमिनल एक्ट माना जाएगा।
    इंडोनेशिया को आमतौर पर लिबरल सोसायटी माना जाता है। अब नए क्रिमिनल कोड को लेकर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। इसकी वजह यह है कि इस दक्षिण-पूर्व एशियाई में कुछ लोग नए कोड को ईरान की तरह मॉरेलिटी पुलिसिंग की तरफ एक कदम मान रहे हैं।
    दूसरी तरफ, सरकार का कहना है कि वो क्रिमिनल जस्टिस सिस्टम को बिल्कुल नया कलेवर देना चाहती है ताकि तमाम चीजें बदलते वक्त के हिसाब से और अपडेट हों।
    सरकार का कहना है- फिलहाल, जो क्रिमिनल कोड या आपराधिक कानून व्यवस्था है जो गुलामी के दौर की है। इसमें बदलाव की सख्त जरूरत है। हमें बदलते हुए वक्त के साथ अपने कानून को भी बदलना होगा।
    खास बात यह है कि पिछले साल सरकार ने इस बिल के बारे में पहली बार जानकारी दी थी और उसी वक्त विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू हो गए थे। अब कानून पास होने के अगले ही दिन लोग सड़कों पर उतरने लगे हैं।
    राष्ट्रपति जोको विडोडो ने जी-20 के जरिए ग्लोबल इमेज बनाई, लेकिन डोमेस्टिक फ्रंट पर उनके कदम लिबरल सोसायटी को पसंद नहीं आ रहे हैं।

    मौजूदा समय में इलेक्ट्रिक कार बैटरी में मौजूद लीथियम का केवल दस फीसद की ही रीसाइक्लिंग की जाती है.
    ब्रिटेन के थिंक टैंक टोनी ब्लेयर इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ ग्लोबल चेंज की रिपोर्ट में इसे लेकर चिंता जताई गई थी।
    रिपोर्ट में अनुमान जताया गया है कि 2040 तक ही अगर कोई नया टैक्स नहीं लगाया गया तो ब्रिटेन की ट्रेजरी को 26.16 लाख करोड़ का नुकसान संभव है।
    हर साल एक वाहन मालिक औसत 1.11 लाख रुपए फ्यूल ड्यूटी और वाहन उत्पाद शुल्क देता है। इनमें करीब 75,465 रुपए टैक्स राशि है। वहीं इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन मालिक सिर्फ 32,198 रुपए देते हैं, इनमें 2012 रुपए टैक्स रहता है। यानी पेट्रोल-डीजल गाड़ियां चलाने वाले 245% ज्यादा टैक्स भरते हैं।

    Deputy governor T Rabi Sankar said that the regulator is looking at a technological solution to offer anonymity.


    The central bank’s director of Banking Supervision Haruna B. Mustafa wrote that customers “should be encouraged to use alternative channels (internet banking, mobile banking apps, USSD cards/POS, eNaira, etc.) to conduct their banking transactions.”


    The eNaira was launched in October last year, but less than 0.5% of Nigerians are thought to be using it. 


    As of now, there are 98 countries that are in the process of exploring CBDCs, according to the Atlantic Council tracker. Of these, 11 countries have launched a CBDC, including the Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean islands and Jamaica. China, Russia, South Korea and Thailand have conducted pilots for their respective digital currencies, but are yet to officially launch them, while the people of Nigeria have rejected their country’s digital currency.
