100 पावरप्लांट कोयले से चलते हैं. 60 परसेंटबिजली कोयले से बनती है, कोयलेकी कमी भी नहीं है. दुनिया का पांचवा सबसे ज्यादा कोयला, दुनया की सबसे बड़ी कोयला उत्पादन कंपनी है. बिजली कंपनियां कोयला का पेमेन्ट नहीं कर रही. कंपनियों को डिस्टकाम से भुगतान नहीं मिल रहा. सरकार डिस्टकाम के पैसे नहीं दे रही . सब्सिडी और बिजली माफी का पैसा सरकारें नहीं दे रही, सरकार दस परसेंट विदेशी कोयला इस्तेमाल करने का दबाव बना रही है. दो साल में कोयला आठ गुना महंगा हुआ इंटरनेशनल मार्केट में . सरकार कोयला दे नहीं रही और विदेशों से आयात पर दबाव डाल रही .
