The devil....the world....the media.... the news has been lying to you, me, us for our entire lives. He makes us believe that we must look a certain way, talk a certain way, live a certain way, dress a certain way to be worthy or successful in life.

And it's ALL a lie.  The devil wants to keep us in a negative and depressed state of mind. He wants to us to quit and stop pursuing our dreams and stop searching for our purpose. He wants us to be lazy, sad, angry, offended and oppressed. He wants us to be distracted with wordly things, he wants us to be manipulated into thinking that the ways of the world should be our ways, that it's the only way. It's ALL a lie. 

We need to wake up and discover the truth behind why we are here, what purpose we serve and find peace, fulfillment and everlasting joy. It's possible and it starts with untraining your mind everything you've been told. It's time to tell a different story. Truth is just one decision away.

Happy New Year! I've been praying about this new year and asking for guidance. The word I was given was intentional. God was and is very intentional with everything He does and so He expects us to be the same. 

In this podcast I share a few ways to be intentional this new year. Hopefully you have a task, a goal or a dream you are working to achieve this year and the best way to do it is to keep God in first place. You can start by being intentional about your Spiritual life which includes reading His word and praying daily. I can assure you if you keep God in His rightful place everything else in your life will be in order of His will and in His timing all things will fall into place. 

Let's keep off this new year in 2023 with purpose by being intentional in all we do. Shine your light this new year.

I can't begin to explain the true beauty behind confidence especially when it was something that was absent from my life for so long. It's been a process.

But when you're a Christian and you believe the Word of God to be the truth, then how can you not believe and have faith in the words He speaks about you.  How does that make sense?

Romans 12:2- Do not be conformed by this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind through Christ Jesus. 

It's time to take a stand for what is right vs what is socially acceptable. Do not allow the world to tell you how to act, how to think or how to dress. The devil wants you to believe that in order to be accepted that you must be like the world. 

The world tries to program us through tv shows, movies, music, social media, ads, etc to make us think that we must look a certain way, act a certain way, speak a certain way, dress a certain way in order to be accepted. Thats where insecurities come from, depression comes from, jealousy comes from, lust comes from and the list goes on and on....everything evil and opposite of God. 

Do not be conformed by this world, allow God to transform your mind and your life through Christ Jesus.

God is in control. Faith is about trusting God's process and God's timing even when it doesn't come like we expect, when we expect or who we expect it to come through. 

There is a process for everything in life. A blessing given too soon is not a blessing at all. The preparation or the process is what prepares us for the blessing.  We need to learn to embrace the uncomfortable because we are growing and being prepared for something bigger...something greater. 

Together let's learn to embrace the process and experience the blessing on the other side. Surrender and allow God to perform his perfect work.

Character....what would your friends and family say about your character? Building your character very important as you dedicate yourself to a level of standards. Your character determines your destiny. Your character attracts loyalty....your character is a commitment to a set of values that cannot be changed based on popularity or peer pressure. 

Build your character and seek out others character prior to investing time, money, effort or a relationship. When you first meet someone, you are meeting their personality....give it some time and experience different life events to determine their character.

Nothing on earth is as powerful as the human will. It's so powerful that even God himself does not control it. God gave us the power of will, free will. The choice to choose. The will controls our destiny.

Your will is yours. God desires us to use our will to establish His kingdom on the earth. But the challenge is, it's yours. You get to decide. It's the most precious and the most dangerous gift God ever gave us. God made us in his like image; therefore, we have the same power, which is beautiful, but it's also dangerous because we can choose against God.

Listen in and learn more about our conscious mind and our subconscious mind. I share some of the teachings of Myles Munroe. In my opinion one of the greatest teachers of our time.  Be prepared to be transformed.
