Sometimes we don't understand the attachments or requirements behind our commitments. At times we make commitments when we are in a good mood, when we are inspired or when we think it's a good decision....and then some time goes by and we may realize that we regret making that commitment for varies reasons. 

Understanding everything that is required to keep that commitment is critical to ensure we remain loyal to it. This is something I am still working on....I wonder how many of you might be too.

Oops...I am posting this one a bit late. I actually forgot I recorded it. But, I wanted to give a little shout out to my babe. Both of my beautiful daughters amaze me daily. They are deep rooted in the Holy Spirit, and I get the joy of watching them grow deeper and deeper everyday which leads to self-love and self-worth. They are confident in who they are and they know with God anything is possible. And I have the same prayer for each of you.

Did you know that there are over 3,000 promises from God recorded in the bible? Did you know that Gods word cannot return void...which means if he said it then he will perform it. God cannot lie. I encourage you to stand firm on his promises and wait for them to come to pass, No, they won't be on your timing and they most likely will not come to pass the way you think, hope OR expect....but that's where true faith on your part comes in.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not depend on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5-6  He's got you, He is bigger than you and knows what it best for you! After all, He created you. Why wouldn't you trust Him?

What's the very first thing you thought about when you first woke up this morning?  Are you waking up dreading the day, are you waking up with joy in your heart....or maybe you begin to worry. What is it?

Your first thoughts of the morning along with your morning routine sets the tone for the rest of the day. So... decide what kind of day you want and then hold any negative thoughts captive and push them away, bring your thoughts back to peace and joy. 

Of course, it's easier said than done. But make an effort and begin to train your brain today and reap the benefits for life.

Gossip is poison plain and simple. Unfortunately, most of us have experienced gossip in our lives at one point or another and it always ends the same way.....broken trust, broken hearts and broken relationships.

God considers it a sin and He absolutely hates it.  It destroys life and anything that is good. Listen in as I share questions to ask yourself to help you determine if you are gossiping and identify if you need a new group of friends.

Let's work harder to be better about building people up rather than tearing them down by talking about them behind their backs or spreading rumors with the intent to harm their reputation and hurt them.

In this podcast I share an experience between myself and a friend. Sometimes we are eager to help a friend in need and we end up doing too much or overcomplicating the situation when sometimes the best solution is the simplest. 

Most of us talk more than we listen. Or we listen to respond vs listen to process. Listening is a very powerful skill and we most certainly do not use it enough. This podcast speaks about the power of the pause. The power behind listening and allowing your Holy Spirit within to mentor you through tough and uncomfortable situations.

I hope this podcast sheds some light on the blessing behind the curfew. I remember as a teenager always being rebellious and not respecting my Parents and their rules. I thought they were being mean and strict when I had a curfew but the friends I hung with did not. I often pushed the limits and put my Parent through hell and by doing so I paid heavy consequences.

I was ignorant and I thought I knew everything. When in actuality my Parents had rules, curfews and expectations put in place because they loved me and they wanted to protect me. It was completely opposite of what I thought I knew.   Listen in and gain a better understanding.

Maybe you got wrapped up in the wrong group of friends or started a new routine or new activity and suddenly one day you wake up and begin to see your life from a different perspective and you begin to wonder.....how did this happen? I know I can relate. Sometimes without even realizing it we begin to drift further and further away from our goals, our dreams and our purpose. The good news is we can always find our way back, the better news is when Jesus is our anchor we don't drift very far before we realize we need to make some adjustments in our lives.
