This week on Girls Gone Hallmark, we’re climbing aboard the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie The Christmas Train. Starring Dermot Mulroney, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Danny Glover, and Joan Cusack, this holiday drama follows two former war correspondents who unexpectedly reunite on a cross-country train journey from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles just days before Christmas. As old feelings resurface and a colorful cast of fellow passengers fills the ride with romance, mystery, and holiday spirit, we break down whether this Hall of Fame adaptation lives up to its prestigious billing – or if this Christmas train should have stayed at the station.

This week on Girls Gone Hallmark, we're revisiting the 2012 Hallmark Hall of Fame film Christmas With Holly, which originally premiered on ABC on December 9, 2012. Based on the novel Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor, the story follows Maggie, who escapes to a small Washington town after being left at the altar, where she meets Mark, his silent young niece Holly, and a family still learning how to live after heartbreaking loss. It's a gentle, emotionally rich story about grief, healing, found family, and the unexpected ways hope has a habit of showing up at Christmas.

Christmas in July is officially back, and Hallmark is kicking off the festivities with Christmas Under Construction, starring Jessica Lowndes and Daniel Lissing. Now... if you found yourself experiencing a tiny case of déjà vu while watching this one, just know you're probably not imagining things. We'll get into all of that later, but first we're diving into the movie itself: a reality home renovation show, a live Christmas special, a relationship that's in much worse shape than the cabin they're remodeling, and Daniel Lissing showing up to remind everyone why Hallmark fans are always happy to see him. Did Hallmark build a solid start to Christmas in July, or is this project already in need of a renovation?
