Rosie drank alcohol up until about 5 years ago and she used to have this fear that if she quit alcohol she wouldn’t be able to celebrate, and she also used it as a comfort, like a glass of champagne would bring her comfort. She didn’t realize that having a glass of wine was associated with unwinding or relaxing and was very habitual, but when she finally quit drinking, she went through quite a healing process and now she realizes that she is able to reach peak physical health without alcohol, which she didn’t consider before quitting.
