John Walsh is our hero this week.  He not only survived the unbelievable abduction and murder of his son but he went on to change the landscape of how we now treat child abductions.  He also helped to catch over 1000 criminals and brought home over 50 missing children!
Following the crime, the Walsh family founded the Adam Walsh Child Resource Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to legislative reform.  It later merged with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), where John Walsh serves on the board of directors.
