What does it really mean to be a Christian in the latter days?
This week, we dive into Doctrine and Covenants 115–120, where the Lord Himself gives His Church its name and reminds us who we represent. ✨
In this episode, you’ll learn:
🙌 Why the name The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints matters and what it says about your discipleship
💡 What it means to “arise and shine forth” in a world that’s dimming its light
🙏 How daily acts—temple worship, kindness, courage—prove we truly follow Christ
🎶 Why shining forth doesn’t mean being perfect, just being willing to keep trying
President Nelson said, “It was the Savior Himself who said, ‘For thus shall my church be called in the last days.’” So let’s live up to that name. Let’s arise, shine forth, and show through our lives that yes—we are Christian enough. 🌟

When life hits hard, how do you keep your heart cheerful and your head wise? 🕊️🐍
In this week’s Go & Do, Candis Shupe explores D&C 111–114 from “treasure” that actually means people, to the Savior’s call to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” After a heavy few weeks, this episode shows how to find peace, choose what matters, and move forward with real faith.
You’ll take away:
1️⃣ Treasure people > stuff: Why the Lord’s “treasure” (D&C 111) is relationships and how to value them daily.
2️⃣ How to get answers: “Concern not yourselves… tarry and inquire” (D&C 111) simple, practical steps to pray, wait, and discern.
3️⃣ Be wise and kind: What “wise as serpents, harmless as doves” looks like at school, online, and at home plus how to share glad tidings like the early Saints (D&C 114:1).
Come for the scriptures, stay for the hope. Let’s go and do—with good cheer, clear guidance, and Christ at the center. 🎧✨

Have you ever attended a temple dedication? For the early Saints, dedicating the Kirtland Temple was a once-in-a-lifetime event. Today, temple dedications and open houses happen with increasing frequency—and each one carries the same purpose: preparing a house where the Lord Himself may come.
This week’s block—Doctrine and Covenants 109–110—takes us inside the dedicatory prayer of the Kirtland Temple and the sacred vision Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery had just one week later, when Christ appeared in His house.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
🙏 Why dedicatory prayers matter—and how their blessings extend to your temple district today
👑 What Section 110 teaches us about Christ personally coming to His temples
🌍 How President Nelson connects the surge of new temples to preparing for the Second Coming
🏠 Why every visit to the temple is an invitation to draw nearer to your truest Friend, Jesus Christ
The Lord is still coming to His temples. The question is: are you there too?

General Conference is almost here, and while the Conference Center is buzzing with flowers, seating charts, and last-minute details…what about your prep? 📖✨
This week’s block—Doctrine and Covenants 106–108—is all about priesthood organization, authority, and preparation. Turns out, these sections give us a pattern for how the Lord’s work moves forward and how we can get ready to hear His voice through living prophets.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
👑 Why all priesthood is Melchizedek and what that means for you
📜 How priesthood authority is passed down and organized—from Adam to our day
🤝 The pattern of unanimity, righteousness, and unity in the Lord’s work
🗝️ What keys really do (hint: open spiritual doors)
So here’s the real question—if the Lord’s leaders are preparing, how are you preparing? 🎧 Let’s go and do.

Halloween vibes aside, Doctrine and Covenants 102–105 reminds us of something way scarier than jump scares: being careless with what God has trusted us to do. These sections dive into discipleship, stewardship, and the courage it takes to truly follow Christ.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
⚔️ Why God’s enemies will never prevail—and what it really means to “lay down your life” as His disciple today
📋 How stewardship works in 2025 and why we’ll all be held accountable for how we use our time, talents, and blessings
🌟 The difference between faithfulness that multiplies blessings and carelessness that brings cursing
So… are you living like a steward or a spectator? 🎧 Let’s go and do.

Life throws hard things at all of us—sometimes because of our own choices, sometimes because of others, and sometimes just because mortality is messy. The Saints in Doctrine and Covenants 98–101 knew this all too well, and the Lord’s counsel to them still applies to us today.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
💪 How to face trials with faith—whether they come from your choices, others’ choices, or just life
🙌 Why the happiest times of your life often overlap with the hardest (hint: it’s about God’s presence)
📖 What it really means to lift up your voice so the Spirit can bear record in your life
Hard things happen. But with the Lord, all things can truly work together for our good. 🎧 Will you go and trust Him?

Do You Have Your Pattern? 🏗️
When the Lord commanded the early Saints to build a temple, He didn’t just say “figure it out.” He gave them a pattern. And He’s given us one too. This week in Doctrine and Covenants 94–97, we learn what happens when we follow the Lord’s blueprints—and what happens when we don’t.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
📜 Why God always gives His people a pattern to follow (and how that applies to your life right now)
💡 How your patriarchal blessing is a personal “blueprint” for building your life with the Lord
🏛️ What the Lord promises when we build His house—and our lives—His way
So… are you following your pattern? Let’s go and build with Him.

Am I Like Him? ✨
Who do people say you’re like—your parents, siblings, maybe even a celebrity look-alike? Fun as those comparisons can be, Doctrine and Covenants 93 challenges us with a deeper question: are we becoming like Christ, our Brother?
In this episode, you’ll learn:
🌟 What Section 93 teaches about Christ’s character—and how we can reflect His light in our daily lives
🛠️ Why the Lord told even His leaders to “set their houses in order”—and how we can do the same
📖 How truth and knowledge prepare us for the ultimate goal: to see Christ
This week, let’s go beyond look-alikes and aim for Christ’s image in our countenance. 🎧 Will you go and do?

Thought for the Weak 😉
(see what I did there?)
This week in Come, Follow Me we’re in Doctrine and Covenants 89–92—a powerhouse block about weak things becoming strong, holding on to the keys, and setting our lives in order.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
🥤 Why the Word of Wisdom isn’t just about health—it’s a principle with a promise that helps weak things (us!) become strong
🔑 What it really means that the priesthood keys will “never again be taken from the earth”
📖 How the Lord expects us to treat modern revelation—the “oracles”—and why acting on General Conference talks matters
🗂️ Why the Lord keeps reminding us to “set our house in order” and what that looks like in 2025
This week’s takeaway? God is asking us to take the small and simple steps—live the Word of Wisdom, listen to His oracles, put things in order—so He can make weak things strong in us.
🎧 Will you go and do it?

School season is here, but did you know Doctrine and Covenants 88 invites us to a different kind of classroom? The Lord’s “School of the Prophets” wasn’t just for the early Saints—it’s for us today, and the temple is still His university.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
🏫 Why the Lord created the School of the Prophets—and how we can still “attend”
📚 The what, why, and how of the learning He wants for each of us
⚡ Why “hastening the work” means enrolling in His courses now
The Lord’s University is always in session, and the tuition is your time and willingness to learn. So… when’s your next class? 🎧
