Lori Gaspar, BFA, MA, 500 E-RYT, is the Founder and Director of Prairie Yoga. Lori is known as a “teacher of teachers” – passionate about training yoga teachers to better adapt the yoga practice so it is accessible to a broader range of students. This is why Lori founded Prairie Yoga in 2006 with its 500-hour advanced yoga teacher training program.
Lori currently serves on the Ethics Development and Standards Advisory committees for Yoga Alliance and was recognized as a reining woman yoga leader in the Chicago-area by Yoga Chicago. Lori has been featured in Mantra Yoga+Health, Yoga Chicago, Yoga Teacher Magazine and Illumine.

Kate Davis MS, RD, CSSD, LDN is a registered dietitian who is board-certified as a specialist in sports nutrition and the owner of RDKate Sports Nutrition, located in Naperville, IL. Kate teaches athletes what to eat, when to eat it and when to supplement on training days, competition days and every other day. Kate has previously consulted with middle school, high school, NCAA Division I, II & III, Olympic, NFL and NBA athletes. She has worked at both IMG Training Academy in Bradenton, Florida and at Michigan State University. Kate does not sell supplements, but acts as an independent advisor to athletes looking for no-nonsense, science-based recommendations. Its my final podcast for 2015. What a year! It started out with me figuring out how to do podcasts. Finally I got better after doing a few one my own.
I looked into what it really took to produce a podcast and after some research, I have a set up that allows guests from around the world be a guest.
My podcast has achieved 1000 listens in 33 days and it still grows. I have over 50 shows done in about 4 month. Not bad i would say.

We have a knowledgeable registered dietitian with us today. Her name is Sue Yager. We will be talking about what is Cardiac nutrition and the importance of being aware of it.
Susan has been working in clinical dietetics for over 15 years. She received a B.S. in Nutrition at Southern Illinois University, M.S. in Nutrition at Eastern Illinois University and completed a dietetic internship at BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington- Normal. Her experience includes inpatient hospital dietetics, rehabilitation, bariatric surgery, home health, outpatient nutrition counseling, and ambulatory care dialysis.
Susan has held several leadership positions throughout her career. These include President of the North Suburban Dietetic Association and Senior Dietitian for Resurrection Health care Longterm Care. She is the current president elect for the Illinois Council on Renal Nutrition.
Susan was honored to receive the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year for Illinois in 2008. Her interests include renal nutrition, writing and developing nutrition education materials and current trends in nutrition.
