Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome back to the Goblin Lore Podcast!
Today we are joined by Ellie of the Veil to talk cosplay and representation in Magic. Ellie talks about being able to see herself in the character of Klothys and the support she got to wade into cosplay. We also hit on what cosplay means/looks like during the time of the Pandemic, as well as what the future of Magic Events may be.
Again we would like to state that Black Lives Matter (with a link to where you can offer support both monetary and not).
We also are proud to have partnered with Grinding Coffee Co a black, LGBT+ affiliated and owned, coffee business that is aimed at providing coffee to gamers. You can read more about their mission here. You can use our partner code for discounted coffee!

As promised, we plan to keep these Mental Health Links available moving forward too. For general Mental Health the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has great resources for people struggling with mental health concerns as well as their families. We also want to draw attention to this article on stigma from NAMI's site.
If you’re thinking about suicide or just need someone to talk to right now, you can get support from any of the resources below.

Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome back to the Goblin Lore Podcast!
Back in our forty-ninth episode, Alex and Joe discussed a goblin character that we had not physically seen yet in Magic: the Gathering lore – Krark, of the Mirrodin goblins – and the clan he founded and inspired. This episode looked at the Gambler's Fallacy in the real world! Hobbes had been unable to join and was particularly upset as Krark is very dear to him.
So last week we returned to this topic with a very special guest (Orcish Librarian). We start our discussion of why we all suck at identify randomness and had to endure Hobbes's wild theories on the development of Krark as it relates to a famous Mathematician who flipped a lot of coins. This week continues with tangents, wild theories about another Magic Character and a lot more on chaos.
Again we would like to state that Black Lives Matter (with a link to where you can offer support both monetary and not).

So let's return to this topic now that we know a little more about Krark. We also have a friend who has been on the show before and BEGGED to come back we swear (Orcish Librarian). Learn why we all suck at identify randomness and stick around for Hobbes's wild theories on the development of Krark as it relates to a famous Mathematician who flipped a lot of coins.

Hello Podwalkers,
Welcome back to the Goblin Lore Podcast! For today's episode Alex and Hobbes were joined by the now officially sometimes hose of the cast Chase (aka ManaCurves) to discuss what Depression using the story of Karn as the jumping off point. This is part 2 of our discussion on this topic though it has been 9 episodes since part 1! There is a joke among the cast that time has no meaning and we had to re-record a large chunk of what was done previously as the prior recording had all sorts of audio issues. Today focuses a lot more on the real world implications and needed a fair amount of time devoted to it. So enjoy!

Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome back to another episode of the Goblin Lore Podcast! Today's episode continues our look at the Legends of Commander Legends. Hobbes and Alex return to some Lore with a look back at the state that Magic Story has been. Using this fantastic article the hosts break down who you can hope to see when you crack this amazing new set. Also we are thankful for feedback, especially when we miss with some of the story. We had a listener mention about Belbe and some of what we missed which we are thankful for. We are hoping to correct this when we get to doing the second article from Wizards!

Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome back to another episode of the Goblin Lore Podcast! And we are back with our Third Episode Using The Color Pie to discuss one of our top 3 Topics (Food). With each episode we find ourselves refining our Color Pie Theory for Food/Cooking. So what better way to do this than the Color Pie of Pie.

Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome back to another episode of the Goblin Lore Podcast! In addition to bringing you part 2 of our Discussion on Psychographics and Personality we also have a giveaway! This giveaway is different than a lot of the ones we have done before. We are joined by Chris (aka Harmless Offering) who has a new project working at getting decks into players hands. He created a special flavorful Goblin Deck and you'll have to listen to the intro to find out more!
After the intro Hobbes and Alex finish their discussion on Psychographics and Aesthetics when it comes to Magic Players before moving into the real world topic of Personality Characteristics. This includes looking more at both Psychographics and Personality Characteristics as dimensions along a spectrum rather than a categorical approach. Today's episode again mentions a lot of works previously done especially by Mark Rosewater so we are including links to these .

Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome back to another episode of the Goblin Lore Podcast! Alex is back after a few episodes away and he comes back to the podcast with an episode topic he had been wanting us to cover for awhile. Hobbes and Alex take on Psychographics/Aesthetics when it comes to Magic Players. This is a topic that we've talked around, mentioned, and hinted at but realized we had not tackled head on. Part 1 deals with these categories and introduces the idea of different ways to look at them. Part 2 will bring that to our own lives and the nature of personality. Today's episode mentions a lot of works previously done especially by Mark Rosewater so we are including links to these .

Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome to the Goblin Lore Podcast!
In today's episode Hobbes is back with another solo episode. After a recent thread on Anger in Magic Story we take a look at Greven and Angrath as they both manage their anger in different ways. Today's episode focuses on learning more about Anger as an emotion and dispelling some myths.
