Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme: God is Calling.  We discussed how God is calling you to fast.  Our scripture references were Matthew 6:16-18 and Matthew 4:1-4.  God loves to reward us with His Word when we fast for his eyes only.  We need to fast to grow with God.  The team talked honestly about their fasting experiences.  Karl shared how fasting moves us from wrestling, to release, and then to revelation.  Also, we asked listeners, "When and why have you fasted?  What did God reveal to you about Himself when you fasted?".   There are great articles on fasting on the Campus Crusade website (www.cru.org).  We also highlighted a book:  "Tony Evans Speaks Out on Fasting" from Moody Publishers.  Finally, take a listen to the Karl and Crew Showcast to hear the highlights from today.
