You are anointed!

Maybe you've never considered this or you've never had another tell you this, but you are.

Now, with anointing comes great responsibility which is why some avoid it.  The other real talk truth is that you are only anointed to be who God uniquely formed, created and shaped you to be.

Too often, especially at the start of a new year, we are hard after the NEW--new habits, new vision, new beliefs, new body, new...but to get there we spend too much time comparing and not enough time focusing on our own lanes and running our own races.

You will never become who you are here to become or create what you alone can, by trying to be or model your life after your neighbor.  That's a fast track to being miserable.

The good news, and it's always available, is that deep and lasting fulfillment comes from trapping into and expressing the fullness of who YOU are and you can work on that every single day.  Ready?

Self-Care and Spiritual Development are often neglected areas.

We "know" we should take better care of ourselves and invest in our inner life, but there are a myriad of reasons why we are not consistent in doing so.  

Lack of time, energy, or motivation are a few of the most common reasons why we do not fully invest in strengthening and caring for ourselves.

When we invest in strengthening our body, mind and spirit, we live fuller, balanced and more joyful lives.  Most importantly, we can better serve those we are called to serve.

Practicing self-care and developing our spiritual maturity involves a recognition that we need God to lead, sustain and guide us each step of the way.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT MAKE-BELIEVE?

Make-believe, is creating belief and beliefs are just thoughts you keep thinking.

Often we choose not to stretch our faith and activate our belief because we want to avoid disappointment.  Interestingly enough, in an effort to avoid disappointment later, we choose disappointment now.  When we practice self-protecting and unbelief muscles long enough, we use our imaginations against us and can only imagine the worst.

NOT fun, joyful or wonderful...at all!

If disappointment were part of the process, would you allow yourself to feel it and believe through until the end, anyway?

Maybe it's time to challenge whether it's actually a blessing to shut down someone's imagination and childlike wonder or not...ready?

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

Being a "yes man" or a "yes woman" and accommodating dysfunction, overlooking issues to avoid being uncomfortable or giving too many benefits of the doubt rather than taking initiative to make things right...creates a lot of unpleasant things that we get to tolerate.

When we don't take radical responsibility and ownership for our lives, inevitably we tolerate a lot, get angry about it, have temper tantrums and create the exact opposite of what we actually want and are gifted and positioned to offer.  Yikes!

The good news is you can start taking radical responsibility, building integrity momentum, and co-creating miracles in your life and ultimately the lives around you by embodying and holding yourself to a standard of excellence.  You don't have to tolerate less, but as always, it starts with you.  

When ever has blaming, making excuses, venting, gossiping, or criticizing produced more peace, more love and more joy in your life?  

The more God's government increases in my life (the more He directs my thoughts, conversations, decisions and actions) the more my peace will increase.
