(00:32) ESPN’s Jordan Reid joined Mike Golic Jr. live from the NFL combine in Indianapolis, mainly to hit on the latest Mock Draft from his colleague Mel Kiper Jr. They discussed high-end prospects and where they may end up, such as Penn State’s Abdul Carter, Miami’s Cam Ward, Colorado’s Travis Hunter and Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty. 

(15:21) Yahoo’s Nate Tice stopped by to continue with some news out of the NFL. Junior and Nate hit on Travis Kelce’s current situation, and if he will return to the league next year or call it a career. They also shifted gears to some other big names that could be on the move next season, such as LA Rams QB Matthew Stafford and KC Chiefs Guard Trey Smith.

(30:18) Former Alabama Starting QB and current NFL Draft Prospect Jalen Milroe sat down with Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr. at the Super Bowl, and the guys wanted to know what the process has been like for Milroe thus far. Milroe, who has been with the Tide since 2021, is currently ranked as the 6th overall QB prospect by NFL.com and has played in 5 Bowl Games as a member of the team.

In Hour 1…

(1:16) A little bit of housekeeping to kick off the show - Mike Golic Sr. will be out the next few days as he goes under the knife to have his shoulder replaced! Good luck and speedy recovery Senior! Junior lead the show with the upcoming podcast schedule over the next couple of weeks, including no live shows Feb 27-28th, however there will still be podcasts so be on the lookout! 

(6:00) The biggest news of the night coming out of the Association - Luka Doncic faced off against his former team, the Dallas Mavericks, and this matchup did not disappoint. Luka dropped a triple-double, LeBron James went 27-12-3, and Kyrie Irving lead scoring with 35 points on the night. GoJo broke down how much fun this game was to watch as a fan, and how the Lakers are beginning to find their rhythm with Luka now on the roster.

(19:23) The NFL Combine is under way in Indianapolis, and Mike Golic Jr will be there starting Thursday. Junior discusses some of the biggest storylines coming out of the combine, including Shedeur Sanders decision to not throw at this year’s event. He also talked about if the Titans should be looking at trading the first overall pick with no clear-cut number 1 option in this years draft, as well as how he feels Tennessee should approach their pick from a positional standpoint. 

(25:03) The Kirk Cousins experience wasn’t the most successful for Atlanta last season, and it came out this week that Cousins was injured during week 10 of the 2024 regular season. The Falcons stated they’re comfortable entering 2025 with Cousins as a backup, but is this a smoke screen to help Cousins maintain his current trade value? GoJo discussed this, as well as how the Falcons should handle Cousins ahead of the Regular Season.

(29:14) The New York Rodgers and QB Aaron Rodgers announced they intend to split earlier this month, and new Head Coach Aaron Glenn stated that many players in the locker room were not happy with the franchises decision to move on from the four-time MVP. Gojo discussed if this will be a massive issue for Glenn to be facing in his first year leading Gang Green, and how the team should handle the situation with their current group.

(35:12) Joel Embiid is hurt once again, and doctors have begun discussing “radical” surgery options for the 30-year old big man. Junior briefly discusses how the Sixers should go forward with, or without, Embiid in the future, and what they should do with Embiid in the short term. 

(36:37) Jessica Smetana of the Dan LeBatard Show with Stugotz stopped by to discuss multiple topics, headlined by Notre Dame Women’s Basketball falling to NC State last weekend, ending the Lady Irish’s 19-game win streak. They also transition into some more news and notes out of this years NFL combine, as well as a brief homage to Diana Taurasi, who announced she would be retiring from the WNBA on Wednesday.

(00:18) Fox Sports Writer and Podcast Host David Helman joined the guys to kick off hour 2 of the show, mainly to focus on the team he covers - the Dallas Cowboys. They get into the intricacies of this offseason, between hiring a new Head Coach, big contract decisions and more, it has not been the easiest offseason for Jerry Jones’ team. They also discuss the “selectively aggressive” comments that stemmed from the team, and then transitioned into an overall NFL discussion, hitting on topics such as Myles Garrett’s next spot and where Matthew Stafford will land this offseason.

(15:13) The guests keep on coming as The Athletic’s Zach Harper stopped by to chat with the Golics. Zach and the guys got into the Embiid situation in Philadelphia and what his future holds, as well as a discussion about Monday’s 25-Point comeback by the Timberwolves. They also talked about Gregg Popovich stepping away for the remainder of the season, Jimmy Butler’s debut with the Warriors, and what the Knicks have shown us over the past few months. 

(29:56) GoJo didn’t want to forget to mention he was dog sitting for previous guest David Helman this week, and what it’s been like taking care of a 3-month old puppy. Junior, Senior and Jessie discussed the ins and outs of the week with the dog, as well as what David should be doing for GoJo after helping him with such a task. 

(34:44) The conversation transitions from the Puppy to Senior taking on Jaylen Brown, who was unable to identify many celebrities during a timeout at a recent Boston Celtics game. The guys took a page from Boston’s book, and showed Senior a gauntlet of celebs to see if he could name any of them.

(1:52) Monday night provided an exciting one in the Association as the Minnesota Timberwolves overcame a 25-point deficit to take down Oklahoma City by a final score of 131-128. The guys get into last night’s matchup, with GoJo catching up after going to bed early in the fourth quarter. They discuss how impressive of a comeback it was, and what it could mean for the Oklahoma City Thunder going forward.

(11:29) Perhaps the biggest news out of the NBA on Tuesday - Luka Doncic will face his former team, the Dallas Mavericks, as they travel to take on the Los Angeles Lakers. Mike and Mike discuss what they’re expecting from tonight’s matchup, and how Dallas will respond against their former star player. 

(20:13) Discussed a little on Monday, the guys dive back into the current situation regarding LA Rams QB Matthew Stafford, who has openly been placed in trade discussions this offseason. With many different teams in the running, such as the Browns, Giants, Steelers and Raiders, where will the former World Champion QB be playing under center as the 2025 season kicks off?

(34:14) Green Bay has been in the news this week as their president Mark Murphy has been vocal about banning the “Tush Push” play, heavily utilized by the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Junior and Senior discuss their thoughts (Spoiler Alert: they still like the play), and what they think, if anything, the league should do to combat the play this offseason.

(44:08) The guys transition into a conversation surrounding the current state of the Dallas Cowboys, and how they will be “selectively aggressive” this offseason. There’s been speculation the Cowboys are planning on tanking this upcoming season after hiring HC Brian Schottenheimer, but will the Cowboys actually take his tenure seriously, or is this just smoke to help them prepare for the 2026 season?

In Hour 2…

(00:25) The guys kick off the second hour with a discussion about some of the big-name Free Agent Quarterbacks on the Market this offseason, headlined by current LA Rams QB Matthew Stafford. Stafford is entering his age 37 season, and the Rams have been open about trading his current #1 WR Cooper Kupp. The Rams have begun letting Stafford’s agent talk with teams, and the guys discuss some potential landing spots for him, as well as New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers and Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Darnold. 

(12:08) The NFL announced they have begun their investigation into Sexual Misconduct Allegations against Baltimore Ravens K Justin Tucker. The guys detail some of the allegations against him, including the fact that 16 women have come forward to speak out against Baltimore’s Kicker. 

(15:40) Notre Dame Women’s Basketball fell to NC State on Sunday by a final score of 104-95. The #1 Irish, primed for a Tournament Run, lost for only the fourth time this season. The guys break down this matchup, and discuss if it could have any implications come Tourney Time next month. 

(25:34) The guys transition into discussing the Unrivaled League’s one on one contest, and talk about if the NBA should take some notes from the startup league, in hopes that it can bring something new to it’s All-Star format in the coming years. The guys discussed how much they’ve loved Unrivaled as well, and what it’s meant for Women’s Basketball as a whole. 

(30:30) Auburn Men’s Basketball HC Bruce Pearl joined the guys to talk about his Tiger’s 2024-25 season. Auburn is currently #1 in the nation, and the SEC currently has 9 schools in the Top-25. In Hour 1…

(2:55) Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr. lead off the week with some of the biggest news out of the NBA, starting with Joel Embiid’s newest knee injury. At the beginning of the 2024-25 season, it was already stated Embiid would be rolling back the amount of minutes he would be playing in hopes of remaining healthy for a playoff run. Come almost four months later, Embiid is once again down with another injury to his knee. Is this going to be the turning point for Philadelphia on how they handle Embiid after 10+ seasons in the Association? 

(11:54) The guys then transition into another NBA legend sidelined, this time with San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich. Pop, who has been with the franchise since 1996. Following a health issue, later reported as a “mild stroke,” Popovich has been away from the team since November 2nd, and it came out this week he is unlikely to return to the sidelines this season. Is this the last we’ve seen of the five-time World Champion Head Coach, or does Pop have one more in him? The guys hit on everything surrounding the current situation, as well as what Popovich has meant to the game of basketball over the last 30+ years. 

(19:27) The NBA All-Star Game was poorly received by fans this year, but the media members had their revenge following the All-Star matchup in the Bay Area. The Golic’s discuss how some media members were vindicated this week following the mid-season exhibition. 

(25:07) The guys then transition to Sunday’s slate of NBA Games, headlined by the New York Knicks traveling to Boston to take on the defending World-Champion Celtics. The Celtics showed New York why they were defending champs, defeating them by a score of 118-105. They discuss if Boston is still the team to beat in the East, and then talk about some of the other games that caught fans attention on Sunday.

(34:22) The NFL Combine begins this week in Indianapolis, and Colorado’s Star QB, Shedeur Sanders, won’t be throwing at this year’s event. This isn’t an unprecedented move, as many top picks over the past few years have elected not to throw, and the guys discuss if this is a good or bad move for Sanders, who is projected to go in the Top-5 of April’s NFL Draft. They also discuss some of the players who will be running the 40-yard dash, as well as some of the intricacies that hold more value than they should at the combine. 

(49:28) Finally, Jessie Coffield gives a brief overview of some eye-popping stat lines during Sunday’s NBA Slate - particularly with players such as Miami’s Tyler Herro and Detroit’s Cade Cunningham.
