In Hour 2…

(00:18) Fox Sports Writer and Podcast Host David Helman joined the guys to kick off hour 2 of the show, mainly to focus on the team he covers - the Dallas Cowboys. They get into the intricacies of this offseason, between hiring a new Head Coach, big contract decisions and more, it has not been the easiest offseason for Jerry Jones’ team. They also discuss the “selectively aggressive” comments that stemmed from the team, and then transitioned into an overall NFL discussion, hitting on topics such as Myles Garrett’s next spot and where Matthew Stafford will land this offseason.

(15:13) The guests keep on coming as The Athletic’s Zach Harper stopped by to chat with the Golics. Zach and the guys got into the Embiid situation in Philadelphia and what his future holds, as well as a discussion about Monday’s 25-Point comeback by the Timberwolves. They also talked about Gregg Popovich stepping away for the remainder of the season, Jimmy Butler’s debut with the Warriors, and what the Knicks have shown us over the past few months. 

(29:56) GoJo didn’t want to forget to mention he was dog sitting for previous guest David Helman this week, and what it’s been like taking care of a 3-month old puppy. Junior, Senior and Jessie discussed the ins and outs of the week with the dog, as well as what David should be doing for GoJo after helping him with such a task. 

(34:44) The conversation transitions from the Puppy to Senior taking on Jaylen Brown, who was unable to identify many celebrities during a timeout at a recent Boston Celtics game. The guys took a page from Boston’s book, and showed Senior a gauntlet of celebs to see if he could name any of them.
