They started with a discussion about some notable QB’s, such as Matthew Stafford or Sam Darnold, and where they could end up come September. They also shifted into a conversation about the World Champion Eagles and how successful of an offseason they had last year, and which teams have the potential to have an Eagles-esque offe

(34:16) After 35 years, ESPN and Major League Baseball agreed to mutually part ways after the 2025 season after the network continued to roll back its baseball coverage over the past several years. The guys discuss what this could mean for the sport of baseball, as well as what it could mean for ESPN going forward. They then shift gears into the biggest news of the day, the New York Yankees axing their long-standing rule of not being able to sport facial hair. (4:21) The United States and Canada squared off in an overtime thriller during the Four Nations Face-Off Final on Thursday night, and it captivated Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr. From what it meant on the ice, to the larger meaning politically, it held the attention of NHL fans, hockey fans, and those who’ve never watched a game on ice. The guys break down everything they loved about the game, the tournament, and dealing with a loss from their home country. 

(15:47) Perhaps the biggest news Thursday - Spurs F/C Victor Wembanyama was sidelined for the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with blood clots in his shoulder. The guys discuss what a blow this is for the Spurs, as well as the league, as well as how disappointed they are not being able to see Wembanyama make a potential push for the playoffs. 

(21:55) Dallas Cowboys guard Zack Martin called it a career after 11 seasons in the NFL this week, and the guys give Martin his well-deserved flowers. Being one of the most consistent starters in the NFL, the Cowboys are losing one of their best payers over the last decade, and the Golic’s pay homage to what he’s meant towards offensive line play as a whole. 

(36:52) The deadline has passed, but the stories surrounding it have not after Mark Williams reportedly failed his physical after being traded to the Lakers, thus keeping him in Charlotte. The Lakers and Hornets squared off on Wednesday, where Williams went 10-9-2 in the “revenge” spot. The guys get into the nuts and bolts of this one, and discuss if the Lakers actually “sabotaged” their own deal.

(44:50) College Football Season never really ends, and that held true as Texas announced this week that they will no longer be hosting their Spring Football Games, citing that college football was changing, and they need to adapt, and with how deep of a season the team played, they needed rest. Should more schools take this approach? Mike and Mike break it all down.

(00:50) We’re officially in mock draft season, and the Cam Ward to go #1 discourse is starting to gain some steam. ESPN’s Louis Riddick gave glowing support of Ward, however other personnel executives say he’s more similar to Bo Nix - the 12th overall pick in last year’s draft. The guys discuss what they think of Ward’s draft stock, as well as players whose stock could rise as the draft nears, such as Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart. 

(15:22) “Missin’ Curfew” host Shane O’Brien stopped by to talk hockey ahead of Thursday’s Four Nations Face-Off Final between the United States and Canada. Shane and the guys get into the hype of this year’s tournament, as well as the notable injuries the United States is facing as they head into the final. They also discuss how important the international tournament has been to the league this year, as well as the possibility of expanding the tournament in the coming years. Finally, they give their preview and picks for the final, and to quote Senior “Get your popcorn ready.”

(30:32) There’s been one 12-team College Football Playoff, and we’re already talking about changing the seeding format. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey stated "I'm prepared to vote for seeding change, but it has to be unanimous” and the guys break everything down. They analyze what the potential seeding changes could look like, if they like the current format or are in favor of changes as the playoff moves forward, and how automatic qualifiers are designated to certain schools and conferences.

(1:45) Mike Golic Sr. started off the show with his head spinning after a trip to the nail salon with his wife yesterday. Senior, who does not frequent the nail salon, needed to bring his wife cash, and upon entering the building had to learn to navigate the maze that is women’s cosmetology.

(9:21) After the nail salon fallout, the guys get into the newest Offensive Coordinator for the World Champion Philadelphia Eagles, as the team promoted Passing Game Coordinator Kevin Patullo to the role previously filled by now-Saints HC Kellen Moore. They discuss what they’re expecting from Patullo, if he can fill the shoes left by Moore, and how Jalen Hurts will respond to his fifth offensive coordinator in six NFL Seasons. 

(13:52) The Conversation then shifted to the current landscape of the NFC, following Dak Prescott’s comments saying the Cowboys are “close” to contending. The guys analyze some teams that are ready to make the jump to the next level next season, and how some new head coaches will impact their respective franchises.

(19:21) The NFL announced that it would be raising its Salary Cap between $277.5 million and $281.5 million ahead of the 2025 regular season, meaning it will have increased by over $50m over the past two seasons. The guys get into the benefits it could bring to the league, particularly its big-name star talent.

(22:11) The conversation continued into the bulk of WR talent on the free agent market, as well as the trade market this offseason. With big names on the move, such as Deebo Samuel, Tee Higgins, Cooper Kupp and Keenan Allen among others, how will the new cap number impact where these big names will end up? 

(34:20) The NBA returned on Wednesday night with one matchup, where the New Orleans Hornets stunned Lebron, Luka and the Lakers 100-97. The guys lightly touch on Luka’s struggles since joining the Lakers, and then discuss the biggest contenders in the association heading into the second half. 

(41:20) A clip resurfaced during the “Court of Gold” Netflix documentary, which led discourse online to re-discuss the current face of the NBA. Anthony Edwards has stated he does not want to be the face of basketball, and the guys begin to discuss who currently holds the crown, or is in line to take the crown over the next few seasons. 

(49:15) Light discourse regarding Missouri Basketball HC Dennis Gates imploring students at the University not to rush the court as the fine will cost them future money towards their NIL fund.
