Pedro Grifol is somehow still the manager however a meeting was held recently to discuss his future. Were you happy with what the Sox got back at the trade deadline? Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox (27-74) were swept by the Kansas City Royals this past weekend. The Sox scored just three runs and turned in a pathetic effort after the break. Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox (27-71) made it to the All- Star break in historic fashion. No team in history has ever lost as many games (71) as the Sox have at the break. This past week was dominated by the MLB Draft and the trade deadline. Lots of speculation on whether the Sox will trade star pitcher Garrett Crochet but if he does go, they now have a new lefty in the system. With the fifth pick in the draft, the Sox chose left-handed pitcher Hagen Smith. Despite the fact that the Sox need some offense, they went with what they know. Thank you for the continued support. Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox (26-66) lost a pair of road series and Michael Kopech's inconsistencies were on full display in the finale in Miami. Kopech gave up a three run, walk-off homerun to Jake Burger. Living and dying by the fastball is not a sustainable recipe for a closer. During the Cleveland series, Luis Robert Jr. decided not to make a throw from centerfield at the end of Game 1 because there did not seem to be a realistic chance that he'd get the ball to Homeplate in time to stop the speedster Andres Gimenez from scoring the winning run. That apathetic attitude really seems to encapsulate this 2024 White Sox team. With the trade deadline less than a month away, how many Sox players will depart? Garrett Crochet pitched very well against both LA and COL. Rumors continue to swirl about the Sox looking to deal him at the deadline. Play-by-play man, John Schriffen, celebrated a monster homerun by Luis Robert Jr. with a panther growl. As expected, fans had opinions. Hey Sox fans! Our 2024 Chicago White Sox (21-58) are on pace to be the worst team in franchise history. What a time to be alive. The Sox have a rough time in Detroit. Jonathan Cannon could not string together back-to-back quality starts, Paul DeJong forgot how many outs there were and Oscar Colas was optioned yet again. Hey Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox (19-54) are still waiting on that elusive 20th win but a few pitching performances from this past week might have made you forget about the horribleness. The Sox strung together four solid outings in Seattle and Erick Fedde shined in Arizona over the weekend. Drew Thorpe and Jonathan Cannon impressed and Garrett Crochet is must watch TV. Besides what we're seeing at the big league level, there are pitchers in the farm system that are worthy of excitement. Hey Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox (15-45) were swept by the Milwaukee Brewers and are on a historically bad pace as their losing streak hits eleven games.
