The way up is down, to be the greatest you must be the least. In this message Jesus explains the heart of a person who will be saved.

Jesus tells the story of a widow seeking justice from an unrighteous judge. God's judgement however is not unrighteous, he will give freely to those who are his. The critical question however is whether or not we sit under God's judgement or if we have been set free by it.

Jesus paints a fairly grim picture of what it will be like when he returns. His judgement will be swift and final and not everyone will be saved. Jesus offers this warning however after first stating that the kingdom of God is here in Christ. Now is the time that all people must put their faith in Jesus to be saved.

Everything we have, the air we breathe, the love we know, is a gift from God. In this weeks message Jesus reminds us that we must always come back to Jesus with praise and joy for all the great things he has given us.

Jesus asks everyone who follows him to do some very difficult things, in this passage he asks us to forgive people again and again, the question is why? Why should we forgive people who have hurt us, why should we forgive people who don't even care? This is the question we answer this week, why?

What will it look like for our church to have a healthy impact on the community in which we live? How are we to keep our health in balance and not get into one form or another of church sickness?

What does it mean to be a healthy church? What will it look like for Gospel Church as we seek to honour Jesus?

To start 2016 we want to have a look at our walk with Jesus, a chance to have a check up and see if we are healthy or perhaps to see if the things of this world might have crept in like foreign bodies that need to be dealt with.

Joy, happiness, laughter, fun, are all words that should be regularly associated with church. The truth is that Jesus has died for our sin, he has brought us to the Father and we now live as children of God when we trust Jesus. There is simply so many reasons for the church to be a place of joy. On our 2nd Birthday as a church we look at the reasons we have to celebrate the second year of Jesus building his church.
