  • Episode 15: Lobo/Mask
Al and T enjoy the wacky and tacky crossover of Lobo and The Mask! We talk about edgy 90's comics, memorable visuals such as two severed heads wielding knives with their tongues, and the upcoming queer reclamation of the once derogatory phrase,"Cutsie boy".

Next weekend we will be taking Gotham Arcade to the big apple for Flame Con, the largest LGBTQ+ comic con, and a week or so after we'll bring you that special episode!

  • Episode 14: Batman The Telltale Series (ep 2)
Back in the mean streets of Gotham this week playing the second episode of the Telltale developed Batman video game. Listen as we hypothesize about the likelihood of gotham having a Dunks', desperately try to find the flirt option in every dialog tree, and regret some decisions.

You can find our episode covering the first ep. of this game in our backlog, or list to it directly here

  • Episode 13: Green Arrow Quiver
This week we read a real biggins, but had a great time with it. We take on Green Arrow Quiver, by Kevin Smith and art by Phil Hester a delightful early 2000's run of Green Arrow. We discuss demons with a fetish for A-B rhyme schemes, gay stereotypes (or not?), and contemplate whether Batman is the horse-girl of the DC universe. We see you Quiver, with antici......        pation! (T wrote this, I'm so sorry)

  • Episode 12: Monument Valley 2
Ain't No Monument high enough, ain't no valley low enough to keep Al and T from near crying at this bright, colorful, and downright chill ass puzzle game for mobile. In this episode we wallow in the irony of trying to describe a game entirely built on optical illusions over an auditory medium and try to describe strong feelings that aren't sadness. If you're looking for a scathing dunk on a game, this will likely not be it.

  • Episode 11: Secret Six Unhinged
This week, Al and T read Secret Six: Unhinged, the first volume written by a long time favorite Gail Simone. We follow this anti-hero group on a road trip across the US with every major (and minor) super villain in tow. We also talk about spooky boxes, Deadshot being a complete loser the whole time, and our super hero/anti-hero crushes and how "we could fix them".

  • Episode 10: Life is Strange (the first episode)
This week we get caught up in our emo feels/time rewinding abilities with the first episode of Life is Strange! We played this on IOS which turned out to be an interesting choice to say the least, but we had a great time with the first episode of this graphic adventure game. Listen as your hosts Al and T discuss groovy lingo, soft music, and the heavy moral impact of Max's powers and snooping. Let us know if you want us to cover more of this game, because we probably will in the future!

  • Episode 9: Black Canary and Zatanna Bloodspell
Al and T dive into this absolute treat of a graphic novel, Black Canary and Zatanna Bloodspell by Paul Dini and Joe Quinones. A tale of two fishnet'ed gals taking on the world and stopping a ghost from killing a bunch of people... finally something the two of us can relate to! Listen as T thinks the lead of Les Mis was a member of the justice league, and we viciously drag charmed (not really). We had a lot of fun with this one, and hope you'll join us.... for a spell...... like the name of the book.... and the length of time..... you know....

  • Episode 8: Shadow of the Colossus
In this week's episode Al and T take to the desaturated hills of the forbidden land and meet some very tall lads. Shadow of the Colossus came out on PS2 in 2005 and blew everyones minds about what a game like this looks and plays like, as well as probably blowing up some PS2s because the thing had such gnarly graphics for the time. They cover the first few bosses worth of play and T goes on to explain the whole ending, so obvs spoilers! So press play and start climbing that hairy bull guy, you've got some stabbing to do!

  • Episode 7: Motor Crush
Fire up your engines, keep your eyes on the prize, and don't let your foot off the gas... this week we read Motor Crush by Cameron Stewart, Brendan Fletcher, and the amazing Babs Tarr! Listen to us gush about this book for an hour. Learn why you ALWAYS tell your adopted child about their bizarre other worldly background and how hot every character looks in this. We discuss why you should never own a bar in a comic book and T tries to assert that Duke Devlin (of Yu-Gi-Oh! fame) was in Wacky Racers.
