Today we chat with Maui surfer Granger Larsen @grangerlarsen .  He tells us how he looked up to the older guys from Maui like Cheyne Magnusson @redtide83 and Ian Walsh @Ian.walsh and how they opened the door for the next generation of Maui surfers.  Granger talks about being a 6X NSSA National Champ and believed he had a promising pro career ahead of him. He speaks about surfing his 1st WCT event as a wild card for Billabong at J-Bay and how it is the perfect wave. Granger talks about just missing the cut serval years in a row and finally deciding to hang up his jersey and build a life in Maui.
