The 2025 NFL season is 17 weeks old and with the playoffs right around the corner, a few playoff seedings and spots are still up for grabs. The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Chicago Bears in an offensive shootout to keep their hopes of the NFC's #1 seed alive. Brock Purdy and Caleb Williams traded punches throughout Sunday evening until the 49ers defense stood tall. The Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks knocked off the Carolina Panthers, setting up a week 18 matchup that'll determine the winner of the NFC South. The Philadelphia Eagles held off the Buffalo Bills comeback attempt. Jalen Hurts commanded the first half and Josh Allen owned the second half but it was the Eagles defense that dominated the entire game, allowing the Eagles to stay alive in the race for the NFC's 2nd seed. The Steelers fell to the Browns, the Ravens knocked off the Packers and the Texans defeated the Chargers to all set up wild Wk18 playoff implications. Chris and the fellas break down the games, talk through the playoff outlooks and give their best thoughts on the teams that can win a Super Bowl this season.

Chris Long reacts to the 1 and 4 pm games from the NFL's Week 17 slate. The game of the week, which lived up to it's billing, was the Eagles-Bills game from Buffalo. The Philadelphia Eagle defense held the Buffalo Bills to their lowest point total this season. Josh Allen led Buffalo down the field for a touchdown drive but missed the throw on the 2 point conversion to win the game. Jalen Hurts did enough to win the game for the Eagles but the Eagles defense were the stars of the game, especially Cooper DeJean.

Chris, Macon and Stanford Steve pick their best bets from the NFL's Week 17 slate. Plenty to choose from, big and tight lines both. The fellas love the 49ers to cover against the Chicago Bears in a battle that could determine the NFC's #1 seed. The Packers to win, the Bills team total and the Patriots to cover are all picks the fellas liked. As well as Cameron Dicker over 1.5 field goals - you already know.

The NFL Playoff Picture is coming into full view but teams really muddy-ed the waters with the results of week 16 across the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars dropped their statement win of the season on the Denver Broncos and now about 5 different teams can win the AFC's #1 seed. Trevor Lawrence and Co showed they are a legit Super Bowl contending team. The New England Patriots rallied behind Drake Maye and knocked off the Baltimore Ravens to stay a game ahead of the Bills in the AFC East. The Pittsburgh Steelers held on to win a whacky game in Detroit, earning our Hemingway moniker but today DK Metcalf found out that he will be suspended for the final two games of the 2025 NFL season. The Chargers, Texans and Bills all won over teams already eliminated so they could keep pace in the playoff race. And in the NFC, the Eagles took care of the Commanders on Saturday afternoon to feel better about their chances in the playoffs. The Bears had a miraculous comeback against the Packers to further solidify their claim to the NFC North throne. And the fellas breakdown the wild NFC South, a division that both teams, the Panthers and Buccaneers, both seemingly don't want to win.

Chris and the fellas get deep with the NFL Week 16 previews. A great slate this weekend with both Saturday and Sunday games has us stoked for the playoff race! The Bears and Packers do battle to claim the NFC North with only a few games to play. Will Caleb Williams or Jordan Love lead their team to victory? In the NFC South, the Panthers and Buccaneers scrape for their own divisional lead. The Jaguars and Broncos meet with the Broncos needing a win to keep their lead in the race for the AFC's #1 seed. The Steelers and Lions meet with the loser having their playoff hopes take a huge hit and you know Dan Campbell will do anything to stop that from happening to Detroit. The Ravens need a win over the Patriots to remain in the AFC's playoff race and it could be a battle between QBs (Lamar Jackson and Drake Maye) that we'll see for years to come. We're also keeping an eye on the Chiefs to see how they compete without Patrick Mahomes and the Browns solely for the Sack Watch of Myles Garrett. We finish with a couple game previews that were lost in the Bermuda Triangle and our Thursday Night Time Machine.

Chris Long reacts to the 1 and 4 pm games from the NFL's Week 15 slate. The Buffalo Bills came back in the 2nd half against the New England Patriots, with Josh Allen delivering a heck of a performance to stay ahead in the playoff race. The LA Chargers beat the Kansas City Chiefs to eliminate Patrick Mahomes and Co from the playoffs. Trevor Lawrence turned in a career performance against the New York Jets, Philip Rivers played well following a 5 year hiatus from the NFL but the Seattle Seahawks held on against the Indianapolis Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles bounced back against the perfect team to bounce back against, beating the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0.
