Good evening friends.  I’ve found out that podcast rankings are influenced by how often episodes or the show is shared by listeners and I wondered if you have the time and energy you might consider sharing it from time to time.  Maybe with a friend or family member.  I know I shouldn’t be bothered about rankings, but it’s been lovely to find that I’m in the worldwide top ten, because all I wanted to do was get through a hard patch and spread some gentleness.  Not everything needs to be loud, sensational and hilarious.  We don’t always want Beethoven’s 5th; we sometimes want quiet guitar music.  😬Thank you for any support you do give. It makes it all worthwhile.  Good night 🕯️

Hallo and thank you so very much for joining me.

How are you?  Are you able to find peace and contentment or is it eluding you?

Ideas from a simple Dorset lady:

    1. Read in bed a real book for the first and last 15 minutes of each day

    2. Make a point of being extra warm and kind to everyone you come across tomorrow

    3. Buy a packet of lettuce 🥬 seeds and plant them tomorrow

    4. Download Charles Dickins Pickwick Papers on Audible and listen to some each day.  Persevere till the end when you will find your life has been transformed!

    Bonne nuit mes amis x

Thank you for joining me as ever, including to dear Gretchen for her kind email.  I will read some out tomorrow.  It’s fascinating to hear about people’s lives.

Good evening, how are you?  A very warm welcome to newcomers or old comers; to regulars or to drop-ins.  I’m here every day so that you’ve always got a place to go if you need some comfort and companionship.  Let do our bit to make larger the space in the world that protects people from unkindness, crassness and loneliness.  It was so lovely to hear from dearest Barbara from Ohio - my oldest listener so far at 82.  I particularly want to hear from you if you are living alone, experiencing grief or feeling isolated. I would love to hear from anyone - do you have a favourite poem you’d like me to read? A place you would like to tell me about that I can share with others?

And thank you so much to those who subscribe monthly - please stop after a few months as I know how irritating monthly payments are - all these small commitments add up.  Just a little help or one off contributions are appreciated so that I can pop money in the collection boxes if the churches that I visit.

Thank you for joining me and I hope you are having a lovely weekend 😊

I am still missing my mother terribly, but take huge comfort from the world around me.

Lots of love 🌷🐑🫖🪿🌷🙋‍♀️ and email me at [email protected]
