Then we listen to Bede telling of St Augustine’s questions for the Pope. An incredible glimpse into the mind of a long-dead man of huge historical importance.

Art galleries, the origin of Sherborne, teetolling and Bede are gentle pondered this evening. I would be so delighted if you would join me. But please note the unattractive word ‘anus’ makes an unwelcome appearance. Episode 30 today. I’m very grateful for your company on this walk into the unknown..

It was for days like these that I decided to put distance between emotional strain and my head resting on the pillow by reading aloud from books. Books, poems, art, music, these things can help us in times of strain beyond measure. They bring knowledge, bring joy and bring an intercession in the strain in which one can breathe and feel whole again before stepping off again on the tricky path.

It would be so kind if you have time to rate this show. Though I fear you’ll deduct points for my prononciation of ‘induction’ 🤨. Bonne journée 🙋♀️
