In the final Groundbreakers episode we catch up with the Co. Clare farmer putting women in agriculture centre stage as Ireland’s ambassador this year.

Carina Roseingrave farms Burren View Farm with her brother Gerry at the foothills of the Burren in Crusheen, Co. Clare.

Together, they run a diverse enterprise featuring dairy and suckler cattle, a pedigree Limousin and Charolais herd, and free-range egg production.

For Carina, farming has always been part of life and it fundamentally shaped her childhood and now she's passing on what she has learned to her children.

But as she tells Agriland news journalist, Kathleen O'Sullivan it is not always been an easy journey for her.

In 2002 her dad passed away and her mum had five children to bring up, while holding down a job in a local mart and also keeping the family farm going.

Carina shares her passion, resilience and determination in this podcast and as Ireland’s ambassador for the UN International Year of the Woman Farmer, she is proud to champion Irish farmers' voices and help shape a stronger future for women in farming.
