Is it better to start from seed or buy plants from the store? The answer is a little more complicated than just telling you one or the other. In this episode, I share my system for figuring out whether you should do seeds or plants, which takes the guesswork out of planning your garden.
Trust me, once you know how to categorize each plant with my tried and true system, you’ll never be stuck deciding between SEED versus PLANT ever again.

I'm here to tell you it's possible to have a vegetable garden without having to water all the time. In this episode, learn 4 steps to conserve water and make every 💧 count in your garden space.

If you have trouble pooping, then you need a garden. Yep, we’re actually going there 💩 today on the podcast because so many of us have trouble GOING. In this video, learn how the garden can make pooping easier and healthier.
There are so many factors at play when you have gut issues: living in an overly sanitized world, eating poorly, experiencing too much stress, breaking your routines, not exercising, not sleeping, and so on.
Here are 5 ways that having a garden can help you move things along:
Getting your hands dirty (in the soil, that is) helps build your gut microbiome.
You’ll have access to fresher vegetables than what you can find at the grocery store. That means your veggies have a higher water concentration and more fiber, which is critical for going #2.
You’ll build your routine of checking on your garden, and your gut loves a routine.
Gardening is proven to lower your stress levels. Less stress means less cortisol and a less inflamed and imbalanced GI system.

→Get a customized fall plant list based on where you live and how much time you have to garden: https://www.gardenary.com/fall-garden-quiz
If this was helpful, share it with a friend to help them solve their poop problem.
NOTE: I’m a gardener, not a medical professional. If you’re experiencing pain or any type of severe/ongoing issue, talk with your doctor.
Are your tomatoes looking stressed? Did your cucumbers drop all their flowers? Listen, some like it hot, and others just can’t take the heat.
Fortunately, even if it’s really hot where you live, you don’t have to close up your garden for the rest of the summer. There are still a ton of plants you can grow that will actually thrive in the high temps.
Here are 17 heat-loving vegetables to grow right now.
