Rebecca's terminally ill sister was given a short time to live early in her life and battled for years before she finally passed. With having to take care of her and grieving at an early age she was forced to grow up quicker than most.

Having lost his father on September 11th when he was 12 he learned the importance of discussion and sharing other people's stories.
