Korean thriller film “Cold Eyes” attracted 4 million viewers in just 17 days， becoming the fifth domestic film to hit the record this year -- following box office hits “The Berlin File，” “Secretly Greatly，” “New World” and “Miracle in Cell No.7.” The star-studded film tells the story of a group of detectives specializing in surveillance activities on high profile criminals. In the film， they together try to arrest the members of a bank-robbing organization.

스릴러 영화 '감시자들`이 17일만에 400만 관객을 돌파해 '베를린 파일`， '은밀하게 위대하게`， '신세계`， '7번방의 선물`에 이어 올해 400만 관객을 넘은 다섯번째 국내 영화가 됐다. 설경구， 정우성， 한효주 등 스타들이 대거 포진한 '감시자들`은 경찰 특수 수사대 감시반에 대한 이야기다. 영화 속에서 이들은 함께 은행 강도 조직원들을 체포하려 한다.

송일곤 감독의 2011년 최루성 로맨스 영화 '오직 그대만`에서 시각장애인 여성， 2012년 시대극 '광해， 왕이 된 남자`에서 불행한 왕비 등의 역할을 맡았던 한효주는 경찰 특수수사대 감시반의 신참 하윤주 역할을 맡아 그럴 듯하고 섬세한 연기를 보여준다. 그녀가 합류하자마자 감시반은 신출귀몰한 제임스(정우성) 를 감시하는 임무를 맡는다. 그는 사실 국제범죄조직의 무자비한 리더다.
