Your host,
Rayna Spasova - van Aalst
My guest today is Alexandra Franzen.
Alexandra is a professional writer who writes articles about creativity, productivity, communication, goal-setting, entrepreneurship, and how to deal with difficult situations in your life and career.
She also works as a copywriter and writing coach, helping clients to develop podcasts, videos, websites, pitches, proposals, books, and other projects.
Having said all that, this episode is for everyone, even if you’re not interested in writing.
As you will hear in our conversation, I admire Alex for many reasons and I am absolutely confident that any human being who wants to live a fulfilled life, not just merely exist will find something to take away from this episode.
I first heard about Alex four years ago when I launched my company Reina Organics. At that time I was following a course by Marie Forleo called B School and Alex was one of the two resources for copywriting Marie shared (for the ones of you who know Marie Forleo, this already says a lot).
When I visited Alex’s website I fell in love.
I immediately signed up for her newsletter (you’ll hear more about that in our conversation) and I have been admiring her work ever since.
Alex has been a person I look up to when it comes to writing. Her work has helped me realize that I love writing and it has helped me improve my communication with my loved ones.
Here are some of the subjects Alex and I talk about:
My guest today is Ynzo van Zanten, Chief Evangelist at Tony’s Chocolonely.
I’ll start by saying that this episode is slightly different than usual as the focus is more on the company rather than my guest. I’m sure Ynzo doesn’t mind.
Tony’s Chocolonely is a Dutch company focused on producing and selling chocolate with a very important mission – “100% slave free the norm in chocolate”.
During an event where Ynzo talked about the company the subject of slavery touched my heart deeply and I knew I had to share their story because as Martin Luther King, Jr once said
“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.”
Now on a less serious note, and in the spirit of Tony’s Chocolonely of making serious subjects lighter and easier to talk about, I’m going to add that my friends back in Bulgaria and I have a joke that chocolate is the hormone of happiness for women.
I rest my case.
In our conversation Ynzo and I talk about:
What was the most useful thing you learned from my conversation with Ynzo?
My guest today is Jairek Robbins.
Jairek is a decorated performance coach and a lifestyle entrepreneur. He is also #1 bestselling author, at the age of twenty-three, he was awarded the Congressional Award Gold Medal.
He has conducted trainings for a variety of companies & organizations including
He is praised by Deepak Chopra and Keith Ferrazzi.
And the list of his accomplishments goes on and on.
The reason I am excited to have Jairek on the podcast is his innovative approach. It’s that simple.
The coaching industry is one of the fastest growing industries in North America today and making a name for yourself requires quite some skills.
But if you listen to this episode, you would know exactly what I mean. Jairek and I talked about subjects many women struggle with – for instance having a career vs being a mom. Add to the mix Jairek’s experience and talent to say exactly what you need in an easy to digest manner and you’ve got 50 minutes which you will want to hear over and over again.
But even if you’re not a woman or motherhood is not something for you, this episode still has a lot to offer you.
In our conversation Jairek and I talk about:
My guest today is Josh Rosebrook, the man who needs no introduction.
Josh Rosebrook the brand has been conquering hearts in the beauty world for years now but today I talk to Josh not about products and ingredients. Instead we focus on the things which truly set his brand apart and make him one of the most loved people in natural beauty. In our conversation Josh and I discuss:
What was the most useful thing you learned from my conversation with Josh?
