My guest for Happy Half Hour #17 is Kari Sowers, a consultant to creatives and companies. She is an Intellectual Property attorney who helps her clients protect and license what they create. Kari is the host of Manifest Collab, a podcast and community for builders, makers, entrepreneurs and creatives. 

Kari first appeared on the Happy Hour for episode #64. It was one of those special episodes where I had this a-ha moment, realizing that maybe (just maybe) I was creative. It was never a word that I had assigned to myself, and Kari helped me to rethink that word and identity. You can listen to that show here.

But today, Kari is back to catch up after adding another member to the Sowers family. We chat about the advice of making the habit before you buy the gear. Which, hello, I would have a lot more money if I had not bought 4 pairs of running clothes trying to make myself a runner.

She shares about her dream to be a Rockette, her pet peeve involving clever spelling for businesses and what she values in her closest friends. I loved catching up with Kari, she's one of the most personally encouraging guests I've had and I know you'll love hearing from her again.
