God doesn’t just desire new life for and in us, but He also invites us to participate in sharing that new life with others. Join us this week as we explore this further.

This Sunday we continue our Fall sermon series in the book of Ephesians around the question, "Who Are We?" We will continue to draw from the gospel waters of Ephesians 2:1-10 but this week we will focus on this question of formation and character - "who are we becoming?" Paul gives us a word in our passage that is helpful - "handiwork" and then offers a prayer in Ephesians 3: 14-21 that helps us understand this work of formation in our lives. To help frame our conversation this morning we will consider God's work in us; God's work with us; and God's work through us.

As we continue our journey in exploring the depths of Paul’s words in Ephesians 2, their implications for us, and our all-Harderwyk vision; this week we will be focusing on what it means that we are a new creation in Christ, and how that new creation gives shape to not only who we are, but who we are becoming individually and together.

To live from an identity that is received “in Christ” is the journey of saying “NO” and moving on from the false identities of our world and our heart, and instead saying “YES” to receive the identity of Grace: that because of what Jesus did on the cross for me and for all humanity, I am by faith a deeply-loved and fully-adopted child of the Great Creator-King.

We will continue to draw from the gospel waters of Ephesians 2:1-10 but this week we will focus on this question of identity - "who are we?" Paul gives us the powerful word picture of "adoption to sonship" in Ephesians 1 and Romans 8. We will consider this imagery and explore how it shapes our identity.
