Jason Thomas Nichols is accused of forcing his way into a Fairfield, California home after repeatedly demanding to see the homeowner’s daughter, in a confrontation captured on Ring doorbell video. Prosecutors say Nichols identified himself as “Harry Dresden,” a fictional wizard detective, before entering through a rear sliding door and triggering a violent struggle inside the home. He now faces felony charges including burglary, criminal threats, vandalism, and assault.

Robert McCaffrey has been charged with the 1990 murder of Lisa McBride. Robert’s wife, Gail McCaffrey, has been missing for 14 years as well.
