The PGA Tour is back in the spotlight this week. Hot on the heels of announcing its radically different schedule for 2024 – which includes a record $25m bonus payment for the FedEx Cup winner – one of its longest-serving and most influential executives quit.  

This came just days after it was announced that Tiger Woods had accepted a new role as a Player Director.  

Considering everything that’s going on, it’s reasonable to ask: is the PGA Tour in turmoil?
