It's a haunted and ghostly Halloween on Express Yourself! with host Ruhani, and reporters Rose, and Sharanya. Ruhani starts off the hour of horror by sharing spooky two-line stories with surprise endings. She then gives us the origins of the Halloween tradition going back o the celebration of Samhain. Rose talks about letting kids have their one day, Halloween, to eat a large amount of their favorite candy, then the next day nourishing their bodies with fresh and healthy produce. Rose also offers substitutes for trick or treating, although admits that every kid really wants candy, not toothbrushes. Sharanya's Halloween costume is inspired by one of her favorite books, Hunger Games, and the main character of Katniss, a strong literary character. Sharanya admits she is not a fan of Cinderella and recites her original poem, The Unhappy End to Cinderella.
