Haunted or Hoax

Almost Heaven- definitely not Pennsylvania. This week we were actually in West Virginia, talking about another very popular haunt! The Trans-Allegheny Asylum is also known as Weston Hospital. It's old, it's sad, and so it's relatable. It also is supposedly haunted by a little girl, two murder victims, AND something called a creeper. We talk about its long history and try to suss out if a $100 ghost tour would be worth your while.

Eureka! It's Episode 58, talking about the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Coined as the Most Haunted Hotel in America this place has a ton of stories of hauntings and some pretty interesting history. There are healing springs, con artist doctors, and there has even been an archeological dig with specimen discoveries! You'll have to decide if it deserves the most haunted title but we promise, this episode is anything but boring!

We are continuing 2023 with a location recap from our holiday vacation! This week we talk about Old Stone House in DC. Georgetown to be specific, where George Washington was rumored to have planned our nation capital, and a woman hating spirit named George currently haunts. All these Georges aren't related....or are they? The Old Stone House really is old and has seen a LOT since the 1700s. From short pants, long stockings, and cars it seems like there was never a dull moment!

We are coming down to the end of the year! Before we take a vacation, we decided to spend a little time in Pennsylvania. Specifically, in jail. Eastern State Penitentiary to be exact. We were on the naughty list this year? Bad Christmas jokes aside, this place has it's fair share of activities AND a very interesting history behind it.
