I want to invite you to an experience that you may never have had before. This is a somatic practice that I like to do with my clients to have them tap into themselves.
I invite you to give yourself an opportunity to experience your "felt sense."

I am loving what I've learned so far. We're building our foundation of somatic dialogue, language, and tracking so that we can begin to understand the different phases that make up EMDR.
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
It was founded by Francine Shapiro:

I'm gonna be straight up with you.....this work, this kind of inner reflection is for the brave, the courageous, the seeker of truth and healing. And not everyone wants to do this work. I know so many, even in the coaching world and therapy world, that have no desire to seek out the truth about their inner capacity and healing.
So, I thought I'd do this episode to clear the air...to see if you are the "right fit" for this kind of spiritual rigor and, in all honesty, we are all meant to experience in this life.

When I tell people that I am a "Trauma-informed Embodiment" Coach, they're like, "What is embodiment?'
Such a good question!
In this episode, I explain what it is and how you're doing it everyday and all the time.
Just bringing awareness of your God-given ability to do this can open up new information about your Self in a variety of situations and to then ask the question, "I wonder why I react that way in this situation?"

"Faith in action is manifesting the Divine. In other words, what I co-creating with God in the spirit is what I am now "re-creating" with God in the flesh.
It's a powerful belief.
To believe that you once co-created with God your greatest desires and wants in your life. Then, to come here and to believe that you are "re-creating" with God those desires in the flesh, in this finite earthly existence.
But if it is true, how do you think you'd approach your life circumstances right now?
Where would you be seeing God show up and maybe you hadn't realized before?

***NAME CHANGE EVERYONE***
I know it's such a small change but "words matter"!! I am passionate about healing, about wholeness, about being one with Christ not just in the next life but RIGHT NOW!!
As I've been pondering upon what it means for me AND for you that I'm now a certified trauma-informed coach utilizing somatic and embodiment tools and practices, I had to really sit and ask myself some hard questions.
Will I be of greater service to you and for you?
Can I really help you?
What makes me and my program unique and different and does it matter?
Do YOU and your story matter?
I want you to know that you matter....so very, very much!!
I want to learn all I can the tried and tested tools for trauma healing. You and I only get this one life to live as mortals and I'm on a mission to help ou to grow into the full measure of your creation. Will you let me? I truly hope so.

I was so surprised at the amount of dread that was washing over me as I was about to finish up my Trauma-informed Embodiment certification. I tried and tried to do mindset work but nothing was making this feeling go away. So I did the next best thing. I got honest with myself, my pen, and my journal - I started to write.....with no self-editing...sitting with all the shame.
But what came up for me was amazing. I can only attribute it to God and His goodness in allowing me to go through this "honest-to-goodness" process of "coming to my Self". This Self that once was just a Spirit who had (and still has) a propensity for healing, for coaching, for processing trauma, and wanting to manifest this calling in this earthen experience of mortality.
I truly believe this is the calling I longed for, desired, and asked to perform. To help my brothers and sisters throughout this world to help and to help you to "come unto Christ and be perfected in Him". I know that facing our wounded parts and allowing the healing balm of Christ will help you to more fully "come unto Him". How can it not? To come home to Him - the source of safety, connection, love, peace, gratitude
You were created for such a journey.
You were called to this work.
You are given this opportunity to be gathered into His arms of mercy.
Let me help you.

I had no idea what it would take mentally, physicallyl, emotionally, and spiritually to become a Trauma-informed Embodiment Coach but it has been so worth the journey to get HERE!
More than anything, I am so grateful to God for leading and guiding me with such grace and faith in my ability to embrace this new calling to help my sisters (that's YOU!) to come "home" to themselves - that place of regulation, connection, peace, and graciousness. "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" is what we're all meant to live into (maybe not all the time) but building our foundation in that place will help you to connect with the divine within you.

I cannot tell you how many times I've heard so many people berate, belittle, and curse their inner child. It has never sat well with me but I didn't ever understand why until I started getting certified and trained as a Trauma-informed coach PLUS get consistent coaching for myself from another Trauma-informed coach.
I came to realize that there are so many parts of me with so many voices that want my attention - why? To be seen, to be loved, to be heard, and to be understood. Now, that doesn't mean that all of these voices are for my highest good but they are still a part of me. And for that reason, they need attention and for me to learn the wisdom that is within these voices.
As I've been befriending these parts of me and not judging them as right or wrong, good or bad, I have found that I am more loving and gracious to myself.
I invite you to do the same.
