From record-breaking case counts to provincial lockdowns, it’s been an exhausting few weeks for Canadians, especially health-care workers. We speak with three health-care workers across Canada about dealing with Omicron and shutdowns. Dr. Srinivas Murthy is a critical care specialist and Canada’s research chair in pandemic preparedness at the University of British Columbia; Dr. Lisa Salamon is an ER physician at the Scarborough Health Network; and Dr. Matthew Oughto is an attending physician in the division of Infectious Diseases at Montreal’s Jewish General Hospital.
