Summary: In episode 3 of season 8 of "Supernatural," titled "Heartache," the Winchesters investigate a series of murders where hearts are ripped out. They discover the culprit is Randa, who has received Brick Holmes' heart, a famous football player who lived over 90 years by sacrificing others to the Mayan god Cacao. Randa's transformation is revealed when she eats Chick's heart, gaining superhuman strength. The Winchesters defeat Randa and her henchmen, but Sam decides to quit after they complete their mission, reflecting on a happier time with his girlfriend Amelia.
