This week, I am joined by Heather Nations, an Occupational Therapist, Doula, Wife, Mom, Author, Fitness Instructor, Physician Assistant, and Cancer Survivor. We talked about her journey with cancer and how that impacts the way she now interacts with her own patients. We also spent some time chatting about empathy in medicine and thriving through survivorship. Heather will soon be embarking on her new journey as a Physician Assistant with the UF Health Department of OB/GYN.

In this episode, Claire Carlton and I dive into the concept of intuitive eating, including the key principles and practical implementation into everyday life. Claire is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist local to Gainesville. She currently works in a Pediatric Gastroenterology clinic at UF Health where she provides nutrition therapy to patients and families with gastrointestinal health conditions. She is also passionate about working with women and empowering them to develop healthy relationships with food and their bodies, while learning how to nourish themselves in a compassionate way.
