The news of the King of Adarlan’s horrific decision to murder all of the slaves in Endovier and Calaculla leaves a wake of heartache and anger for our favorite characters - and us readers. Across the Great Ocean, the big bad conflict has arrived in the form of Narrok’s forces. Rowan and Celaena do everything they can to prepare Mistward, but are betrayed by one of their own! Realizing the protective barrier around the fortress might falter, Celaena risks it all to buy them more time. Celaena Sardothien will face her crucible. Will she make it out alive or will she let that light go out?
