Support Your Mindset Part Two
Last week, we talked about the first part of supporting your mindset: taking out the trash.
Getting your thoughts out of your head and onto paper.
This week, we’re moving to part two.
Once you’ve cleared out what is weighing on your mind, the next question becomes:
It sounds simple, but many women skip this step.
Instead, they rush into their day, react to whatever comes up, and wonder why they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or scattered.
Supporting your mindset creates a pause.
It gives you space to decide on purpose.
When you ask yourself what you want to do, clarity starts to replace confusion. You stop spinning and start making decisions.
Many clients tell me this practice helps them feel lighter, calmer, and more focused throughout the day. They enjoy what they’re doing more because they are no longer spending so much energy overthinking.
This tool also helps you think beyond today.
You can use it to support future goals, make decisions in advance, and create a plan for how you want to show up when challenges arise.
Because there is a difference between what your brain wants in the moment and what you want long term.
Your brain loves immediate comfort.
You love your future goals.
Supporting your mindset helps bridge that gap.
Instead of waiting to see how you feel in the moment, you decide ahead of time what matters to you and how you want to respond.
That’s where confidence grows.
Part one helps you clear the clutter.
Part two helps you create direction.
Together, they build self-esteem by helping you think intentionally, make decisions with confidence, and follow through on what matters most.
